I bet you any money I have more debt than you (not counting your house and all), I have the not very happy status of having the most debt of everybody I know who doesn't have a mortgage or is declared bankrupt. If it weren't for my lovely fella and super sister I wouldn't even make S2 *sigh*

Rumour has it we're actually getting pay rises in October (at the loss of a bonus, natch!), which should come in mighty handy with all the money I'll be spending at Serenity 2!

unfortunately, most companies suck and never tell you when you get a payrise that way the evil corporate money-grabbing whores (well, at least local councils) can keep it and only the obsessively cynical ones like me will notice. Then there are the evil defence companies that deliberately refuse to upgrade peoples hourly overttime rate when pay-rises have been increased just to save a few bob - i left the company that did that coz i was working in personnel and didn't want the blame when it ended up in court.

I could go on but all employers are evil so it gets boring - oh dear, i am in ranty mood today, must go out...

cold pizza is awful - everyone wash their mouth out with soap and water

speaking of food a friend is coming for dinner so must think about what to cobble together from my kitchen. I reckon some frozen meet with tomatoes, marmalade and chilli flakes, nice and easy cheaper than sausages and mash and i don't have to go out and buy anything

cold pizza - yucky!

Now I'm craving cold pizza!

Sometimes, when I go to one of those pizza places that sell it by the slice, I ask them not to reheat it for me so I can eat it cold. So very good.

I like most Italian foods cold: lasagna, calzones and manicotti especially. Mmm mmm mm mmm mmmm

People should get whatever medical stuff they need. Whatever some people and countries (the US, amongst others) might think, medical care ain't a goddam business; not having it if you can't afford it or because your 'pre-existing medical conditions' make you a bad investment is about the wrongest thing you can get.

"What, you're ill already? Sorry, we can't give medical cover to people who are already ill. You have to be perfectly healthy for us to give you that. I mean, you're going cost us money! Can't have you lowering our profits!"

Bollocks.

Aw, Carol. Sorry my dear. Why are you hating being a woman today? There are lots of great things about being a woman.

Chocolate is good for us.

We can have powerful boobs. If men have boobs they just look fat.

Umm..we can wear makeup without looking like a reject from the 80's rock scene.

We don't have to deal with..um..extra appendages.

We can multitask. Men can only do one thing at a time. And can only think about one thing at a time. And it's usually only that one thing.

We have hips, which are very useful for carrying kids or resting laundry baskets on.

Girl power is really in right now.

What else?

Right, phew, my goodness!

After a long, looong, absence Casualty is back! Just in time for the hypersctivity and joyousness in the build up to S2! Did any one even notice I'd gone? No! I don't blame ya!

So whats going on here then? Chocday? Yes I approve. Everyone trying to convince TWG to move over here? Yes I approve of that too!

I can not however tell you what day it is, what time it is or occasionally what my own name is, having worked over 60 hours in the past 6 days. What is that about? Only another three days to go. Aaahhhh!

Anyway I had a question. Has everyone recieved their tickets yet? Because I moved house about a month ago and in the commotion I forget I'd asked my tickets to be delievered to my old address! Whoops. I'm wondering if I should ring up Starfury or just go round to my old house and see if the new people have saved my post for me. What are the chances huh?

I think I'm off to bed! I'm working another 10 hours tomoro! Oh boy!

The problem with randomness is that specific questions do tend to get lost in the chaos! (Especially when we're fixated on chocolate).

Yes, the tickets have been sent out. Hope you manage to track yours down.

Hmmm, have never suffered from PMT. Depression & suicidal tendancies yes, but not PMT. Why be cranky one week of the month when you can make it a year long thing?

(Matty, tried replying to your email but there was a technical hitch! But you know where the title came from...!)

And now...back to chocolate.

Chocolate... MMMMMmmmmm...

So, there's a (badly restricted, not widely able to be used by everyone) Firefly soundtrack downloadable "CD", is there? By the sound of it, it's been badly bodged up all round, missing songs some would consider vital. I'll try and get ahold of it, though. Let y'all know what I think. Copy it to CD... make mp3s of it... make it snurch-able, maybe.

Let's hope it leads to a proper (and better) CD.

I ordered myself the Serenity RPG last night. The Limited Edition version. My credit card still hasn't forgiven me.

Being human is indeed very good, except when the antics of the most stupid and violent amongst us makes everyone else embarrassed to be the same species as them.

Being a man or being a woman each has their own pretty unique advantages and disadvantages, but nothing is quite as good as the fact that they can come together with person(s) of their preference and have a right good old time!
