Hello british-type people. I have a british-type question for you. A friend of mine is travelling to London soon and wants to bring with him some loose rolling tobacco and some cigs and wants to bring back with him some liqour. Does anyone know where to find out customs info on bringing stuff to/from the US to England and whether he's going to encounter any troubles? We've been looking online, but the websites are just bollocks.

I've got to say - Alex's hair looks just great! Get that boy a Brylcream sponsorship now!

Apologies to anyone who's got one, but my - don't tattoos always look so classy in wedding photos? I was thinking that last week, flicking through OK, and the same thought struck me now...

Emma-thanks for the link. That looks very helpful.

Carol-lovely pictures. Your kids are adorable! I agree with Fray about the tattoos in wedding pictures. At my cousin's wedding, one of the bridesmaids wore a backless dress where you could see this huge tattoo of a pair of wings. My family nearly died of shock.

Yeah, I don't usually buy them either.

But this lovely lady, Mary, who works Friday evenings at work, always has a supply in her pocket, and makes sure that the rest of us don't go hungry whilst on the clock!

So I was tempted to buy some.

They do have one of the tackiest adverts known to man....

OK, must stop thinking about sweets. Despite having had stomach pains all weekend, have just made the mistake of having some chocolate and now feel very worse for wear.

Before I collapse in a heap somewhere, can I point out that it is now LESS than 2 months until Serenity2? I think that deserves a "woo-hoo"!

Sigh, my stomach just won't tolerate junk food anymore. Which wouldn't be such a bad thing if I was actually losing weight (especially with certain Randomers pestering me to join them in their slinky dress-ness at S2!).

Premiere up date - Gossi had 25 pairs of tickets to give away on his site (you have to explain what you've done to promote Serenity etc). But now he reckons there's a chance that it will actually be a charity premiere, so you can buy tickets. No firm details yet, and no idea on the price - I like the charity idea, but find it ironic that people could buy tickets for the Edinburgh premiere for, what, £7.50 odd?

It was Galaxy chocolate BTW - can't get much better:(. And yep, have been told about peppermint tea before.

Oh, Emma - you might have missed it, but the nice CafePress lady removed the wording from the back of her t-shirts. So go buy something! (please explain to me why Emma doesn't mind people reading her chest, but not her back!)

I think I found some Firefly references in the University expansion for Sims 2. My sim was a psych major, and one of his upperclass courses was "Don't Fear the Amygdala." Then, when he graduated, it was suggested he might want to throw a "big shindig" to celebrate. Makes sense: game programming geeks are almost genetically predisposed to be Browncoats, right?

FRAY101

Tell you what would get people's attention, Rel - just wear the Browncoat! Leave the rest to our imagination.

I make no promises with regards the slinkyness! I have started looking around for something to wear, but having said that was wandering around the shops on Saturday on the verge of tears since I couldn't find a single damned thing that would fit me. What will be will be.

And no, not moving - "just" having builders in to rip the house apart (and hopefully put it back together).

Now there's an idea... It's just that I'm not sure everyone could afford the therapy afterwards. Me included!

It need only be moderately slinky; we're not talking about achieving Inara-level here!

Though that would be quite nice... mmmmm....
