A very sad thread, but here it is:

Things we never got to see on Firefly due to cancellation.

1. Inara. There was a deep backstory about her somewhere, and you can tell it was going to be played out, just watch the pilot with her first apperance and her discussion with her "client". There was sadness in there alright.

2. Jane and Simon becoming friends. This might never have happened, but it is a Whedon show right? Thanks Fox!!

3. Kaylee and Simon finally falling head over heels in love with each other. Of course it was headed in that direction, but I wanted to see the quiet moment of realization for both.

4. Mal's past. It was bound to spill out somewhere, maybe not until the second season, but anyway we would have seen the origin of this complex, interesting character.

5 The true identity of Book. Probably the biggest letdown of all. Who the Hell was Book???
