Hello all,

I'm a freelance photographer whom managed to get some portrait shots of Joss Whedon and the cast of Serenity on the rooftop of the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh two days ago. The only omission is Sean Maher, since the shots that looked good on my screen turned out to be a bit defocused (grrr!)

I also attended the photocall, press conference and red carpet, shooting at all of them but until my clients have exercised options on those shots, I can't share 'em.

Anyways, I hope the code link works, otherwise copy and paste the url into your browsers. Enjoy.

They're beautiful shots...I was immediately drawn to Jewel's.

Nice pictures. Sometimes black and white looks good.

They're really good photos!

As someone above said, I'm really drawn to the one of Jewel, you've captured the sparkle in her eyes wonderfully.

Thanks for sharing them with us :D

OMG! Is it me, or does Adam Baldwin look a little bit like Sean Connery in that photo?

Probably me.

Summer looks like she's thinking 'Do you guys know how much fun I'm having?' 8-)

Gina looks a little bit sad, or maybe she was ambushed? Oh, well.

Morena's got this "I've got a secret" smile on and looks like she's in Paris. Tres kewl!

BTW, who's that handsome devil, next to Joss? I know I've seen him somewhere before...

Vince

If you think she looked good there, you should have seen her on the red carpet that night. I've got an absolute cracker of a shot (can't share it atm) where she's 101% glam; If Joss doesn't consider casting her for the role of 'Wonder Woman', I'd be very surprised.

Ahem - confession time; the reason they're in B&W is owing to three of the shots being washed out colourwise. The light was changing from overcast to spots where the sun was breaking through... I was timing my shots (and had the camera set) for the duller moments but, as I clicked the shutter on both Adam's, Chewitel's and Summer's shots, the clouds broke and the bright sunlight nearly ruined the shots completely.

Fortunately what looks unusable in colour can be converted to a decent B&W shot in Photoshop if you know how.

I can assure you that it'll be available sometime in the future.

Question to all: like most of the events that I shoot, once my shots have been optioned by clients, I make prints of select pictures available to order at a variety of sizes. Would there be interest for this based on following prices?

10 x 15cm £0.70 / €1.00 / $1.30 ea
13 x 19cm £1.20 / €1.70 / $2.20 ea
20 x 30cm £3.90 / €5.50 / $7.00 ea
Mouse pad 22 x 19cm £10.00 / €14.00 / $18.00 ea

Naturally there'd be a postage cost as well but, depending on the order, that could be quite low. FYI I'd be using eBay to handle the sales.
