Dear Mrs. & Mr. Eboneezer,

She gotta attend this thing: compiling regrets at her tender age can in later life only lead to psychological trauma.

I would be honored to undertake full responsibility regarding your fine daughter's proper behaviour. Even if it means ruining my entire trip!

Sincerely,

What are their objections?

What are they worried about?

If we know specifics, we can address them.

If she isn't allowed to go to the North Carolina Big Damn Movie Premiere Party, then the terrorists have already won.

Let her go. . .for America.

To Whom it May Concern:

My name is Christopher and I am the host of the Premiere Party here in North Carolina.

When E. told me that she intended to come all the way to NC for the premiere I made it clear that I wanted to be able to offer any and all assurances that she would be safe, in good company and well taken care of while here.

Again, I offer an opportunity to speak to me directly by telephone and ask any questions you might have. I realize that assurances by phone are certainly not as effective as face-to-face, but if this event is that important to E., then I certainly want to play whatever role I can in making this happen.

On the other hand, I have no desire whatsoever to contribute to any sort of conflict in your home or family. If your decision is to not allow E. to travel to NC for this event, I wholly support you in your decision and will not try to 'talk you into it.' The last thing in the world I want to do is appear to be trying to undermine your authority or your position.

If you wish to contact me, E. can get my phone number for you.

Thank you.

In my experience, the best way to convince a parent is to just invite the parent(s) to attend too. Heck, that means more tickets sold to the BDM.

I wholly agree, if the parents (or one of) want to come and see what a great crowd the Browncoats are. . .the more power to them. If not I hope that they at least consider it.

It is ultimately up to the parents and of course we have no right to question their decisions.

BUT PLEEEEEASE LET HER GO!

Check out the Browncoat Online Photoalbum. Thank Fray101. http://clik.to/photoverse
