...and Ariel sucks!
{{{pushing big red button for someone to get me outta here!}}}

Had cardiac cath #2, and stent #4 done Tuesday.... All is well otherwise, just had to wait nearly 8 hours for the stupid procedure cause the cath lab was backed up like Atlanta airport on a rainy day. Hadn't had anything to eat or drink since midnight the night before...needless to say, by 5PM, I was a bit surly. Ended up not getting anything until 10:30 Tuesday night, because they made me wait until they pulled the arterial line out (in case I got queasy).

Looks like I AM done with this crap now, and hoping to get on a clinical study (which means I have to have this gorram procedure done again in 18 months, but just for a look see, and worth it, if I get the meds) for an interesting drug that helps weight loss as well as reducing plaque and improving HDL (the good stuff).

Thanks for the well wishes I've had from my fellow 'Coats!...I WILL be at D*C and celebrating with you all!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Glad to hear you are doing well SHK and that you will be @ Dragon Con. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Glad everything looks good

much sympathy on CC front, My daughter has 3 - 4 a year. except with her, they have to go in through her neck, as her legs wont support the cath.

Wow...not to pry, but why so many? I'm assuming a congenital heart problem? I'm so sorry to hear that...I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Luckily it's not a severely invasive procedure, but still a PITA to go through.

Yeah she is CHD and because she has had so many open hearts plus 2 strokes already, she has to have her pressures etc checked regularly. Plus she has pace wires in there that need to be maintained

For us now its so common, she has the cath and is out the same day.
