Not that anyone will care but I just found out that I was born on the same day of the same year as Jonathan. I also was raised but still live in Maine:

You know I was thinking about this guy the other day after watching the Buffy episode he appears in. I reckon he'd make a good leading man for a future Joss project.

Congrats for sharing your birthday with someone fa-mouse :)

Learned a spiffy thing in a stat class one summer. If you have over 30 people in a room you're almost guaranteed that 2 people in the room have the same birthday. I would win a lot of bar bets with that if I drank.

And before you ask why I was in a stat class during summer, there was gambling. And it was a time filler before the non-euclidean geometry class.

I share my birthday with Madame Curie. Pretty neat, I think.

If you go to biography.com, you can find out who was born on your birthday.

I share a birthday with Bastille Day. A fact I didn't know until, as a kid, I saw Bastille Day banners hanging across the street during the McHale's Navy movie -- The Way-back Machine's 1964 version -- the one with Claudine Longet (Sigh...).

I was being a smartass. Yeah, it's the observed birthday of J.C. 'Cause we all know he couldn't have been born in December and that the December celebration was a takeover of some kind of pagan ritual/festival/holiday thing.

I haven't heard September before. I thought people had figured out that he had to be born sometime in Spring.

And besides, since we don't know the actual date, I couldn't claim sharing his real birthday.

Humphrey Bogart claimed his birthday was December 25th, but it wasn't. I can't think of any notable people who were born on 12/25.

Oh yeah, and Jonathan M. Woodward was great in all his Whedon "hat trick" appearances. Holden is my favorite, though. Maybe he'll be in WONDER WOMAN so he can be Joss' first "fourfer".

And why is a hat trick called a hat trick, anyway?

A whole list of famous people born on December 25. Including Sissy Spacek and Jimmy Buffett.

And I have no idea the answer to your hat trick question. Would like to know the answer, though.

You can also type in the date (Use Month and Date like ‘November 26’) on http://en.wikipedia.org for a list of historic people born, historic people who died and historic events.

For example on mine, Cosmonaut Boris Yegorov was born, Pope Siricius died, and Japanese Vice Admiral Chuichi Nagumo’s fleet of six Aircraft Carriers leaves Hitokapu Bay for Pearl Harbor.

Thanks, CMS.

That's two sites that say Bogart was born on Chistmas Day. But I swear I've read some biographies that have said he (or a publicist) made it up because it would stand out. But maybe I'm wrong.

Kid Ory, Cab Calloway, Ken Stabler, Larry Csonka, Sissy Spacek, Jimmy Buffett--cool!

Karl Rove? That's just nauseating.

KGAZETTE

Hat Trick (stolen from some site I Googled, though I already knew it, I was just looking for a better definition of it):

"It comes from the English game of cricket and refers to a bowler who takes three wickets with three successive balls. For those more familiar with baseball, this is an impressive achievement, similar to a baseball pitcher striking out three batters in a row, but much less common. It seems to have been the custom in the nineteenth century for such a paragon of the art to be awarded a new hat by his club as a mark of his success. However, it is sometimes also said that the phrase alludes to a distinctly more plebeian reward in which the bowler was permitted to take his hat around the crowd for a collection (not necessarily a bowler hat, of course: that was named after a couple of completely different chaps, Messrs Thomas and William Bowler, hatmakers). Hat trick was first recorded in print in the 1870s, but has since been widened to apply to any sport in which the person competing carries off some feat three times in quick succession, such as scoring three goals in one game of soccer."

As far as Vitamin C goes, most of us remember her for her infectiously happy song "Smile" which was used in a Hersey's bar commercial. I don't easily forget things associated with chocolate ;)

And as far as celebs and my birthday goes...

1968 - James Caviezel (who PLAYED Jesus... lol)
1956 - Linda Hamilton (who stars in my favorite movie of all time)
1948 - Olivia Newton-John (so many "get physical" jokes I could make, and won't)
1944 - Anne Robinson ("You are the weakest link, goodbye")
1898 - George Gershwin (composed "Rhapsody in Blue")
1888 - T.S. Eliot
1849 - Ivan Pavlov (but was his dog also born on Sept. 26th? hmm?)
1774 - John Chapman (aka Johnny Appleseed)

KALLIOPE

Totaly useless information:
That man was the reason I got hoocked on Firefly.
I listened to the commentary on one Angel 5 episode and Joss Wheadon mentioned him as 'the perfectly nice guy who goes bad and dies in all of my three series.

Me (in the words of Captain Tight Pants): Huh?
Three? What three?
IMDb offered the solution and ebay the DVDs...

I'm going to be eternally grateful to that man for as long as I live. And Joss, too. And everyone else. And you guys for giving me a place to be obsessed at...

Besides, that kid is kinda cute...
