For some reason, only God knows, SciFi channel is showing the episode "Serenity Part 1" first instead of "The Train Job"!!!!!!!

Gosh.....I hope people can follow the storyline if they show it out of the sequence that Fux network showed it.

Hope for the Best

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

A small amount of anxiety is good to keep the blood flowing.

You did have me worried for a second there.

My only concern is that, at one hour per week, there won't be time for the whole series to run before the movie opens.

Well, if people get hooked they'll just have to go out and buy the DVDs so they can watch the end of the series before the movie.

More DVD sales = more buzz = more box office sales = more movies (hopefully)!

Are you confused, or just not aware of the following? "Serenity Part I" is part one of the original pilot, the one Joss wanted shown first when the series was made. When Fox said they didn't like it, he had 48 hours to write "Train Job" as a new pilot, but everyone knew it was an inferior pilot to "Serenity Parts I and II." The DVD set has the episodes in the order that Joss wanted them, and that they should be shown, which means "Serenity" first, then "Train Job," and so on. It was FOX that screwed things up by showing "Train Job" first, then a variety of eps, then "Serenity" as the very last episode. It sounds like SciFi is doing right what Fox did wrong.

Lest you wonder how I know this: Joss said it at LA Comic Con back in Dec. of 2003, when they had a panel to promote the release of the DVD set.

"Firefly" might have survived if "Serenity" had aired first, as intended. "Train Job" was not a good first episode--I nearly bailed on the series after watching it.

You mean they're going to show the pilot first and the rest of the episodes in the correct order? Are they crazy? People will actually be able to follow that story that way. Silly SciFi.

Nah, see to be that lame and uninformed, you would have to be working for FOX, and someone working for FOX and posting here? Seriously. That would mean they could, like, read. Who'd believe that.

first you need to grow a sense of humor
second you should read the thread before posting, because if you had read other posts then you might have gotten a clue

PS I am sorry if this sounds rude to you
but you were VERY rude to Barnstormer

Let's all play nice. Answering a rude post w/ a rude post just breeds....you know......rudeness. Enough of that and some to spare in the world already.

Lighten up people. It was an attempt at humor. You know, Ha Ha?

Hey folks, Thanks for the support, but don't worry. I have a healthy sense of humor, and a thick skin (some would say a thick skull as well).

This thread was as I said before....In Jest.

So, by default all replies are taken and replied to in the same vein.

I'm just psyched that there's so much BDS, BDM, BDH stuff flying around the airwaves (or cortex if you wish) lately.

Ramping up for a great premier
