I just met a guy who said that Stargate was uber innovative cuz it used modern day technologies and modern day soldiers.

But here is the shocker.. Firefly WASNT because everything is on a space ship, tje mada!

I quite like Stargate, it's got some good action bits and nice humour. However, it is as original as a mirror.

Come back Phoebe, we need people to ground us from our randomness (although I'm not sure you can call a rotation of sex/chocolate/slapping exactly 'random')

What would happen if you took the red pill and the blue pill together? Would you end up in both the Matrix and the real world or would you just be marooned. Get it? Marooned! Eh? Red and Blue!

Eh? Eh? Eh?

I'll get my browncoat.

ONLY SMARTIES HAVE THE ANSWER

It`s the Alice in Wonderland syndrome, I like the red pills but the blue pills are better off for me

The randmoness is excellent on this thread!

We must bring back Phoebe though, perhaps we could pretend to have a sensible discussion and see if that persuades her...

hmmmm... how do you think Einstein's theory of relativity relates to the aerodynamics of a Firefly class craft?

We'll have to apply the Uncertainty Principle to that one. Just because, y'know, we can.

I quite agree, the inherent thermodynamic constants must augment the quantum dynamics underpining the solid state theory encompassing the field distortion.

BTW, Sean's posted that nearly all the Serenity2 tickets have been sold.

Madame, your postulation could not be more fallacious as my articulation was exclusively an aspiration to elevate the standard of confabulation undertaken in this colloquium.

I deem that the noted Albert Einstein had the best rejoinder to such mendacities:

With all the talk of chocolate, vodka and nakedness, would anyone notice a streaker?

But, y'know... anyone that wants to... I don't think anyone would complain, as long as there's enough of it going on to please everyone.

As to the quietude, it's the heat. Much too warm to be random today!

Virtual streaking....now there's a thought!

Ok, going to start scaring people away again!

It's going to be a very long week - boss is back from 2 week holiday. Obviously he's got loads to catch up on (and a fair few problems to boot!), menawhile I'm trying to pretend I have work, when I really ran out about a week ago! Just wish it was the weekend so I could curl up with the new Harry Potter!

Come on Sean - cheer us up and announce some new guests. Afterall we know you've got lots of lovely money to spend now!

Copyright infringement - which, OK, we all kind of knew was an issue but there doesn't seem to be any consistency as to what sort of images they're clamping down on. Zazzle have recently closed some stores (just removed all the items without any prior notice) and some people have also had warnings from CafePress.

So...if you want to get kitted out for Serenity 2 or the movie release, go buy now!

(just got the lastest Total Film - sadly Serenity free. Still, I suppose they did have a double page spread last issue so shouldn't complain).

speaking of which I was on another thread and reminded of the drink JAGO - a vodka cream liquer. Anyone else had it? If not, I suggest you buy some and store it in a cupboard until you are of age then try the delicious beverage whils eating ice cream.

Everyone is so young, I fear I should put my bare bottom away, except Fray's frown would return.

Why are there never enough bare bottoms around when you need one eh?

Well, there were quite a few that guessed (Bill Hicks's interpretation of George's female fans was something else) but yeah, every generation has its own. I mean, Liberace, come on, how obvious could you get?

And I think Alan in skintight Lycra for I, Robot is the closest that you're going to get to naked Washness. Other than that gratuitious bit of full frontal nudity in the BDM. I mean, really, what was Joss thinking with holding that shot for three minutes in close up?

On a side note, has anyone thought of any original, funny or insightful questions to ask the guests? (Kinda trying to help w/ the randomness of the thread..)

Hey, anyone who can cope with the randomness (and occasional nekkidness!) is welcome to join! We're of the belief that meaningless banter like this is the best way of getting to know your fellow Browncoats in advance of meeting them!

Technically I'm going alone too (and it's my first con) but since Emma & I have plans to meet in the bar asap don't think that really counts!

Er, original questions? Think I'll pass on that one...I tend to just go red and mutter incoherently in the face of celebrity!
