Problem with the Serenity Comic?

The Serenity Comic is due to ship on July 6th.

No comics are shipping on July 6th because of the 4th of July - comics are shipping July 7th.

I can live with that but......

I just check the Diamond (comic distributer) shipping list for July 7th and there's no Serenity comic listed at all -

Diamond's 'Expected' list is always very subject to change - even things that are scheduled to ship and that do in fact wind up shipping on time are sometimes left off it - wait until Tuesday when they release the 'Shipping This Week' list to worry. (I also notice Dark Horse stuff tends to be very sparsely represented on the 'Expected' lists and then shows up on the 'Shipping This Week' list anyway).

I will look in to it. As far as I know Serenity will be arriving to my shop on the 6ths. Then again I am not to far from the Diamond warehouse so if they ship to me on tues I will still get it on WED.

That's not 100% accurate. First they're going to ship issue #2, followed by #3, then they're going to cancel it. You'll be able to read issue #1 in the special Trade Paperback that's due out a year later.

In my experience, holidays at the begining of the week mean new comics hit the shelves Thursday instead of Wednesday. Never trust what Previews says as they're quite often wrong.

What's wrong with this franchise? - first they cancel the TV show after screwig it around from the start. Then they move the movie back by half a year - Then they delay the comic!
