Hi:

I work for a magazine publisher and we publish a magazine for non-sport trading card collectors called Non-Sport Update. Next month, we will publish a variant version with the Serenity cast on the cover. Inside will be an exclusive Serenity promotional card found no where else. The issue is a special version being produced for next month's Comic Con International. Copies will be onsale at the show by Inkworks and their associated retailers (Inkworks has the license for Serenity trading cards and will be publishing a series in conjunction with the movie's release). Inside our issue is a story about the movie and card series.

Most of the copies are being shipped off to the show but a small portion will be held back for sale through the Non-Sport Update website for those who are unable to make it to San Diego. We will start pre-selling those copies this Friday and they will ship once Comic Con has ended in mid-July. They'll be available for sale through the Non-Sport Update store at http://www.nonsportupdate.com/nsu_store.htm.

Thanks all. I am not sure if posts like this are allowed here. I have looked quite a bit tonight but don't see anything in the rules/policies that addresses this and my e-mail using the web form has gone unanswered so I apologize if this is not allowed. I just thought the community might be interested in advance word on this.

Glad your copy arrived alright! Our sales have been pretty good, I must say. We still do have some left though, and they are available for immediate shipment now through the NSU Store on the Non-Sport Update website:

Remember though, that we did not have most of the copies (as odd as that sounds). Inkworks pretty much bought the run and sold them at Comic Con and through it's retailers and vendors. This is the fourth year we have done a variant cover for Comic Con. The first three times, Buffy was on the cover and all of those are sold out.
