Well folks, starting June 8th, Fox will be running Tim Minear/Jane Espenson/et Al's new show, The Inside. Looks pretty interesting, Adam Baldwin has a part... FBI is cool.....

But lets think... Tim Minear... on F*X... with a new show.... what does that spell? I'll give you a hint it starts with a C....

So here it is, in anticipation of Tim's need, lets here and now start a thread to hope to save "The Inside" from being taken out to the black, as much as we all love the black....

FBI!

P.S. Yes, I know this is a sick, sick, joke in some ways. But still.

So where is the petition? I'll sign it no matter if it's just for a laugh or to show my support for the show.

Honestly, I think we should get the ball rolling on this, even if it's just a funny way to give the show a bit of publicity.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Too much like jinxing things don't you think?

Check out www.theinside.org probably a good place to get fans to sign. It is showing during the summer, and from what I've seen of the summer schedules, there's nothing but re-runs to compete with The Inside. Fox has also been showing some good ads.

Yeah, unlike Firefly, Wonderfalls, etc., etc., F*X seems to actually be behind this show - at least they're making noises that would suggest that. I'll bet that they'll let this show go at least through the whole summer, so we probably don't have to get ahead of ourselves with trying to save it just yet. Besides, when was the last time one of those petitions actually worked?

Well i was gonna make the petition right after posting last night, but ran into some snags.... if anyone else would like to, this www.petitiononline.com place seems to work... i was also about concerned about the wording, cause as it was last night i was being a bit silly... we need to word it such that it is just a "We love the inside" and the only dig about it is that we're gonna start it before it airs. :)

How about:

"As fans of many of the producers and actors working on Fox's new show 'The Inside' we, the undersigned, wish to show our support for this project. 'The Inside' has a unique, premise which will appeal to a wide audience. As fans of other properties Fox has not stood behind, we ask the network to allow this show to air at least its entire 13 episode run. If sufficient numbers of viewers other than the undersigned are interested, we anticipate a second season, perhaps to air as early as January 2006."

Just a rough sketch hitting the points of us being behind of it because of who's already there, how it should have wide appeal, and how we want at least what's been produced, if not more. And kind of skirts by the problem of the show having not aired yet.

Thoughts?
