So... I want more. That's right, I am a greedy, greedy browncoat. I want Serenity to come to my town, Salt Lake City. So if anyJoss out there has news leaning towards such goodness...

On a side note, I am excited as all get out to go to the Vegas screening with my good buddy Tash. I hope lots of y'all make it down there.

Vegas is cool, but don't waste your time with the Star Trek Experience. The thing destroyed any lingering sympathy I had for that franchise.

HOUSTON! Houston? Say it with me, real slow: H-o-u-s-t-o-n. It's a real big city in Texas, got about a million more people than Dallas and about 2.5 million more than Austin. {I'm such a geek, I checked: Harris County 3.6M, Dallas County 2.3M and Travis County .9M in July 2004 at http://www.census.gov/popest/counties/CO-EST2004-08.html.)

Houston Browncoats! I know I'm not the only one!

I'll of course echo the SLC pitch. C'mon -- this place is geek central! I haven't lived here long, but it seems like Utahns are boffo for sci-fi!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

We can only hope. By hope I mean pray really loudly.

I have yet to definitely secure a ticket for one of the latest screenings (though two very shiny browncoats have me on their reserve list if they have backouts), so yes, I would like to see another round of screenings.

i have to toss my hat in here and say "go raleigh, north carolina!". okay, it will never happen. :( i feel like ralph wiggum in the simpsons in that lord of the flies episode where bart and nelson are racing the grapefruit and the orange on the bus and as they citrus entries roll to the front, ralph puts a banana down and yells "go banana!". kind of like how i feel. no chance, but gotta try anyway, right?

i hope there is, but with these advance screenings, y not just bump the opening date down a month (or 3) and mercy on my sad sad city. though id rather they show it in harbor view suffolk, va because it's a bigger theater and you won't slip on the butter on the floor.

Later Days
