Naw, that's ok, OldFogey, he is OUR Nathan, all of us who admire him so. I truly do want the man to succeed and be happy and do well in all his endeavors. He's sure made me a happy camper just by being... there... to look at but also to admire because he sells me on every part he plays ( I just happen to like Mal the best). I feel real emotion when I see him playing a part. Like you say, I forget he's Nathan and buy into who he is onscreen. Not many actors can do that, and all the other ones I can name are Academy Award winners. I believe Nathan has the ability to join their company.

The Appreciatin' Nathan thread that is current and not archived ( that one is so much fun to go read though!) was started by fillionflan and added to by so many of us over on the SerenityMovie.org Browncoat Board, the one run by gossi. I know everyone over there would love it if folks from over here joined us over there occasionally for appreciatin'. Here's the link:

I suppose we could start something similar here... I wouldn't want to steal their name and I'd want them to know about it and contribute...

By the time you read this I'll be gone, continuing off topic, I have to take my hubby for surgery today, but I'll be back this afternoon and when everything is quiet I'll post more about the Outer Limits ep.

To post over there you have to be logged in, did you get an account? I don't think you can post as a guest. Anyway, if you have an account ( it's free) you go down to the bottom of the post you want to respond to and on the right is an icon that says "repond to this 'coat" I think and just click and it makes a box and off you go. Fill it in, go down and push reply i think.

I still can't post, guess I will have to scroll thru the help or some such, I clicked on the "Quote this Coat" icon and...nothing. And I failed miserably to get myself an avatar. I like this board much better. Easier to use. I am a computer geek and all but sheesh!

Anyhow. If you would kindly reply to Khei's post about not being able to get the Serenity comic, and have her email her address to me at chrysofar@gmail.com, I would be delighted to send one in her direction next Friday when the comic shop gets more in. :) I feel inspired by our Captain who is willing to get *groped* to meet us fer cryin' out loud and I figure, it's the least I can do.

TPB's hard to find. Went looking last week, may have to order it or something. Possibly hit Amazon or E-bay. Although, I did find the Simon cover of the comic. Gorramit, I hate reading the end of a story without the beginning.

Now, time to catch up on some reading here! You guys've been busy the past few days.

Hey, folks, finally made it back to the board long enough to post. Thanks to all who asked after my hubby, he's doing fine, resting in there so I have a few spare moments before I have to see he gets somemore food in him so he can take his meds. I think the ep of Outer Limits is sorted out on the A.N. thread over there, isn't it. I need to let Bauer know my addy so she can send it. I will surely share if I become so lucky as to have that wonderful thing in my possession. I'll trade Nathan for Sean, Kaele happily. Best of both worlds. LOL

I just read the whole thread, sidetracked though it may be, and I have to agree with the statement that this place does feel like home. Just like Serenity. And followmal, if you look over on the CW thread you'll see that I've complained about not gettin' a coat. I got a little crotchety. Don't mind the tone. I get like that sometimes.

Thanks for the kind words to my hubby. No times for the BDM, BUT we did marathon the last two discs of the BDseries. We had to skip "Trash", made him laugh too much and it hurt.
