Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM
Where:
Wayward Coffeehouse
8570 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle
Seattle , WA 98103
(206) 706-3240

Who should come:
Anyone who is interested in helping out in some way for the 2008
Serenity Forever/Equality Now screening event in June can come to the
meeting and let us know how involved you want to be.

Why:
This meeting will help plan our approach to the 2008 charity event.
You'll get to know your fellow Browncoats and give input into making
the Serenity Forever/Equality Now screening a success.

Details:
Come to the first planning meeting for Serenity Forever/Equality Now
(aka Can't Stop the Serenity) and let us know what you'd be
interested in doing for the event in June. It doesn't matter if you
want to help out a little or a lot, we would like meet you.

Volunteers needed for the following:
Getting the Signal out - passing out flyers/posters/attending local
cons and promoting/blogging about the event/contacting media folk
about this fantastic worldwide grassroots effort to support a
charity.
Gathering up the schwag - contacting businesses about donating door
prizes/raffle items
Advance ReCon - Scoping out possible venues in which to have our
event
"Official" photographers and/or videographers - we want folks to
document our hard work before and after the event
Ticket Sellers - get your friends, family, co-workers, strangers on
the street...whoever...to buy tickets in advance so we can afford to
put this event on without digging into our own pockets for cashy
money.
Day of the Event folks - Taking tickets, selling schwag, raffle table
sales, ushers, gofers, sound system experts, Emcees, anything else
we'd need on the day of the screening.

Other opportunities will come up during the months prior to the
screening so let us know what you want to help out with and we'll
find something that fits your talents.
