I was planning on going to Megacon in February in Orlando like I do every year. Now...today I find out this one is on for Orlando in January...with several BDH's & guests, as well as many other great actors from the world of sci-fi.

I'm so excited with this news! I live in So Florida...was wondering if there are any plans with any groups...Browncoats or other...for any sort of organized activity at this January convention.....or at the very least I'd like to know who will be going......How can FF fans identify eachother's screen names at the show, etc.

I'll be there Shiny Ed! I was at last years in Orlando and it was terrific. I don't think there's anything organized for this, and as far as I know there is no organization of South Florida Browncoats.

Fillion rules!...All other actors...a la Pitt, Damon, etc. are pukey, little punks.

ShinyEd, I guarantee you'll be able to identify many Browncoats by our t-shirts and lanyards, come on up and say hi! There will be a fan table and some local Browncoats may be having a little shindig at their place.

FX con is not the greatest, I will have to say. It's only dealers room and autographs. There are no panels. It's just kind of a spend your money thing. But I'm going for the BDH's none the less. It gives a lot of down time to talk with other Browncoats, so that's a good thing.

The con to go to is Dragon*Con in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. That one will knock your sox off!

Hi,
I just found out about FX having the BDHs a few days ago and I must go!!!

Two good and true friends have offered to give me a ride over (I'm legally blind and can't drive) and I thank Buddha for that. I would cry if I could not go.

I don't think they give name badges there but we could arrange to make our own and wear them so that we Browncoats can find each other.

We could pick a time to meetup, exchange cell phone numbers (privately, of course) or figure something else out to get us all together at one point.

I will only be going for Saturday but my experience of FX and Megacon is that one day is enough. they don't have much in the way of programming at either one.

I'm taking my BIG DAMN CHEFS cookbook to get signed.

I'll be at FX Con on Saturday, dressed as either Jayne or Inara... I know, it's a weird spread, but when I saw the grenades, I couldn't resist.

I'll be at Megacon too, peddling some Browncoat wares in Booth Blue 3. Jayne hats, plushies, ice planets, www.this-land.net
