The reason this in "Other Science Fiction Series" is because at the end of the day, it is fiction. But I actually do believe if Clinton had been true to himself and acted the way he really wanted to, this is what would have happened.

Event Description: Bill Clinton begins plotting how to circumvent the Constitution and become President-for-life. He also begins plotting how to make sure that only people with political views friendly to him are allowed any sort of political voice.

Event Description: The Montana massacure takes place. Military forces loyal to Clinton sweep through the states of Montana and eastern Idaho, destroying militias that were active in the area. They also kill those who are known to be in oppostion to the president. Over 100,000 people are killed, with another 22,000 wounded.

Event Description: Working with foreign groups who's support he bought, the President manages to stage a terrorist attack on Miami, Florida. Over 10,000 people are killed, and another 30,000 are seriously injured. President Clinton uses this as an excuse to declare martial law. Several high ranking Democrats in Congress use procedural methods to block any Congressional action against the President.

Event Description: President Clinton disolves Congress and suspends the United States Constitution. He has Federal Troops storm the US Capital. Most Republican and Democrat members of Congress are either killed, captured, or in hiding. All the major news outlets (CNN, Fox, ABC, CBS, and NBC) are taken over by the government. Federal Troops kill Newt Gingrich and Bob Dole the moment they come across them. The troops give a "they resisted arrest" defense, which the media accepts without question. Clinton withdraws his government from the United Nations. The United Nations ambassadors are ejected from the US. Many small resistance movements begin to pop up. These resistance groups are made up of mainstream people, rather than the right wing nuts that make up the militia movement. There are resistance groups in every populated area. The groups are extremly compartmentalized so that if the government takes one down it won't affect the ot hers. Canada closes its borders with the United States.

Event Description: President Clinton names Janet Reno head of the new combined Central Justice Agency. It's an amagalmation of the CIA and the Department of Justice. It's primary duty is to ensure the loyalty of the American people by any means nessecary.

Event Description: Governor Terry Branstad and his family are killed when troops loyal to Clinton storm Terrace Hill in Des Moines, Iowa. Clinton names Tom Vilsack governor.

They realize that Clinton had Branstad eliminated because Branstad had the potential to provide real leadership to the resistance. Event Description: Governor Harkin learns that the Iowa Legislature is planning on having the state leave the Union. Governor Harkin dissolves the Iowa Legislature. With the assistance of Federal troops, he manages to capture a good portion of the Legislature. The rest are in hiding.

Event Description: Governor Harkin orders the construction of a large gallows on the steps of the Iowa Capital.

Event Description: The construction of the gallows on the steps of the Iowa capital is finished. Governor Harkin has several high ranking members of the Legislature hanged.

Event Description: Tom Vilsack of Iowa, Howard Dean of Vermont, George W. Bush of Texas, and Tommy Thompson of Wisconsin meet with the leaders of the six largest resistance movements. Also present at the meeting are General Wesley Clark and Admiral Harold Gehman. The Governors are able to pledge the support of many of the National Guard troops from their respective states. General Clark and Admiral Gehman are able to pledge the support of a large precentage of Federal Troops. The Alliance to Restore the United States is formed at this meeting. Everyone at this meeting swears to either fight to the death or until the United States is restored. Clinton's government begins a program of repressing several religions, including the Roman Catholic, Episcopal, Pentecostal, and the more conservative Protestant denominations. Most of the Catholic hiearchy of the US is captured and imprisoned.

Event Description: Clark, Gehman, and the Governors make the following announcement to US troops who haven't already joined them. The troops can either stand down or come to work with the Alliance. Those who either stand down or work with the Alliance and have not committed any crimes will be guaranteed amnesty. They announce any member of the military who commits war crimes will be brought to justice. If they are ordered to commit war crimes, they and the person giving the order will be held responsible.

Event Description: Prime Minister Jean Chrétien of Canada meets in secret with alliance members. He pledges the support of the Canadian military and people to the cause.

Event Description: Pope John Paul II does what no Pontiff in recent memory has done. He publically condemns President Clinton. He also places the entire United States government and armed forces under an interdict. He then goes on to say that any Catholic member of the American armed forces who commits war crimes will be excommunicated. The Pope urges every American to "resist now and forever" Clinton's government.

Event Description: The President orders the moving of the U.S. Catholic hierachy to a more secure location. While they are being moved, a resistance group learns of the move from spies they placed in Clinton's government. They manage to jump the transport while in route, and rescue the hierachy.

Event Description: On the orders of President Clinton, troops loyal to the President engage in the carpet bombing of Des Moines, Iowa. Tom Vilsack is killed. Over 60,000 civilians are killed in the bombing. Another 40,000 are seriously wounded.

Event Description: The Battle of the Twin Cities takes place near the Minnesota Twin Cities. It is the first major engagement that ends in victory for the Alliance. Over 17,000 Federal Troops are killed, wounded, or captured.

Event Description: Spies working in the Clinton government learn that the President is planning on having the Pope assassinated. They pass this information on. The Pope is moved to an undisclosed location. Before the Pope leaves the Vatican, he says that Clinton could kill the entire leadership of the Church, but God would work through the laity to bring an end to the reign of terror.

Further, it's learned that the President was planning to have the city destroyed because of all the resistance activity in the city.

Event Description: Two F-16's piloted by officers loyal to Clinton sink two ships in the south seas. These ships were refugee ships that had over 6,000 people on them. The ships were carrying the sick, wounded, and old to safety in Australia.

Event Description: British Intelligence learns that Saddam Hussein is planning on taking advantage of the current situation in the United States to attack them. The British pass this on to the Alliance.

Event Description: Ambassador Carnahan warns Saddam and all who would threaten the United States on the floor of the United Nations not to harass the United States. He says that any one who attacks the United States will suffer deadly consequences.

Event Description: The tide finally appears to turn against Clinton. He's lost several battles over the past few months. Federal troops loyal to Clinton are driven out of Washington State, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

Event Description: The Canadian government publishes a list of people in Clinton's government that are to be arrested if they are spotted anywhere in Canada. This list is distributed to all Canadian law enforcement and military agencies.

Event Description: The last of the Federal troops are driven out of the state of Iowa. Governor Harkin is captured outside of Waverly, Iowa by Alliance forces.

Event Description: The last of the troops loyal to Clinton who would not stand down, surrender, or join them are defeated by the Alliance. Alliance troops move in to surround Washington, DC. President Clinton tries to commit suicide so that he won't be captured, but is captured by Alliance troops before he is able to do so.

Event Description: The 1787 Constiution is restored. The Alliance announces that in November of 2004 general elections will be held to elect a Congress and a President. Those who were in Congress who survived since the declaration of martial law and didn't help Clinton are asked to represent their respective states in Congress until the elections are held. A five member committee is appointed to head up the Executive branch until a President can be elected. Alliance leader George W. Bush announces that after sufficent time to gather evidence has passed, that Bill Clinton will be tried for crimes against humanity. Bill Clinton is held in the Federal prison in Terra Haute, Indiana under a suicide watch.

Event Description: Free of government control, the major news outlets finally begin broadcasting the truth. The news networks estimate that over 5 million Americans died due to what is now being called the Reign of Terror. These five millon people died due to starvation, military action, disease, and stress. The number of Americans wounded as a result of the reign number officialy are tallied at 2.5 million, but the actual number is estimated to be close to 5 million. Over 35% of the population is unemployed now.

Event Description: The Alliance works to assemble a ten most wanted list of war criminals. Included in the list is Hillary Clinton, Janet Reno, John Kerry, and Governor Harkin. These people are wanted for crimes such as murder, conspiracy, torture, and numerous other crimes.

Event Description: George W. Bush holds a news conference from the White House. He asks the people of the United States to remain calm. Bush asks people to remember that they're all "sons and daughters of America" and that in the coming days they'll all need to remember that. He further states that those who committed crimes during the reign of terror will be dealt with by the justice system, and that he hopes the American people would not take matters in their own hands. He says that the government needs time to seperate out those who were willingly part of Clinton's government and willingly commited crimes, and those who only served the government because they were in fear of their lives and those of their families.

The people making the cards have no trouble finding 48 other criminals for the remainder of the cards in the deck.

Event Description: The doctor who had performed the autospy on Rush Limbaugh ten years ago comes forward to say that he had been forced to say that Rush died due to natural causes. He said that some kind of drug appeared to have stopped Rush's heart.

Event Description: After getting the approval of Rush Limbaugh's family, Rush's grave site is opened. When the casket is opened at the medical examiner's office, there is no trace of Rush's body.

Event Description: Around 2:30 A.M a commando team makes a raid on the Federal prison outside Terra Heute, Indiana. All of the commmandos are either killed or captured by alliance forces. Prison officals and Alliance leadership learn that the commando team was trying to free Clinton.

Event Description: The panel of experts continue their work on reforming the structure of the US Government. They announce that they have a Bill of Restoration that they will present to Congress and the American people. This Bill will add several new amendments to the Constitution to help reform the Government.

Event Description: The Bill of Restoration is presented to the American People. It consists of several amendments to the 1787 Constitution. Among the important measures:
- All free men and women are considered part of the Militia in it's entirety, all regulations and restrictions pertaining to the free exercise of the Right to Bear Arms in support of Family and Country are hereby prohibited. All members of the Militia are required to possess and maintain at all times, in good military order, an infantry rifle, sidearm, uniform, and other appurtenances necessary for the infantry.
- All states shall appoint Senators who shall serve no more than 2 consecutive terms, the second term of which, shall be upon approval by the citizens of that State. All members sent by their districts to the United States House of Representatives are hereby limited to 4 consecutive terms of office. No member may be elected or appointed to serve if having served in an elective or appointive office within 4 years at the start of office.
- Direct or indirect Federal taxation of income and property of US citzens within the US and its territories is prohibited. Federal taxes shall be collected in 2 manners. The first shall be a tariff of 35% of the retail cost of goods and services, with a 15% sur-tariff based upon the wage differential between the US and the exporting nation. The second shall be a $700 per person tax assessed on the several States. Any State that refuses to pay its assessed tax loses its voting rights in the United States Senate until such time the arrears is rectified.
- The United States Federal Government is prohibited from owning or posessing land and facilities not related to the defense of the nation. All lands owned or controlled by the former agencies of the United States, not including the Department of Defense, are hearby transfered to the Several States whence these are found.
- The Federal Government is prohibited from making any laws, rules or regulations or payments respecting the establishment or maintainance of education, its manner of practice, location, membership or acceptance requirements therein. The Governments of the several States may chose to intervene in these areas as they see fit.
- The Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, Commerce, Labor, Veterans Affairs and Housing are hereby abolished. The several States, may, at their discretion chose to adopt personnel and programs from these former Agencies, but are under no obligation to do so.
- Veterans Affairs responsibilities to be transferred to the Department of Defence.
- No practicing Attorney or other Court Officer may serve in elected office within the United States. Such persons may only serve upon having given up their licensure and other priviledges as Members of the Court for a term not less that 5 years.
- 3/5 of all appointments made to the United Stades Federal Court System are to be drawn from those citizens not currently employed as Court Officers. All judgeships are limited to a 15 year term of appointment.
- Jury nullification is a right of all juries empaneled. A jury may chose to nullifiy the law in a specific case or in its entirety, such judgements shall be respected and enforced within the United States.

Event Description: Much of the Alliance leadership makes their opposition to the Bill of Restoration that was just presented known. They feel that while there was a few good things in the Bill, they are concerned about several of the items in the Bill. They feel that these items are "too right wing." They also feel that with the country healing from its wounds that some of the proposed amendments would be harmful rather than helpful. George W. Bush says that the 2nd Amendment never said that people had to bear arms, it just guarnteed that they had the right to do so, and that people have a right not to carry a weapon if that is their desire. He goes as far as to say any amendment that requires citizens to bear arms is an infringement of their rights.

Event Description: The proposed Bill of Restoration is rejected by Congress. Furthermore, a large majority of the state legislatures say that they will not ratify the Bill as proposed. The makeup of the committee - felt to be too right wing - is modified so that it represents a cross section of Americans.

Event Description: Numerous families come forward to say that young female family members disappeared. Many in Clinton's government, up to and including the President are said to have been responsible. The families allege that if those people seen a young woman they liked, that the woman never came home and was never seen again.

Event Description: A group of citizens begins fundraising efforts to construct a memorial to all who died during Clinton's Reign of Terror. The plans call for a memorial similar to the Vietnam Veteran's memorial. But this memorial is planned to be much larger due to the fact that there was a larger number of deaths. Everyone who died because of Clinton's government will have their name inscribed on the wall. A large section of the wall will also be dedicated to those who died and whose names are unknown. It's planned to have just the words, "To all those who died during this fight for our freedom and way of life, and whose name's are not know to us. Today, those unknown and unnamed people have the gratitude, and the thanks of a free people."

Event Description: A second Bill of Resotoration is presented to the Congress. Congress ratifies this version of the Bill and sends it to the states. This Bill of Restoration provides amendments to the Constiution are as follows;
-The 1787 Constiution is restored.
-Members of the House of Representatives are limited to three 2 year terms in office. Members of the Senate are limited to two 6 year terms in office. A member of Congress in one house of Congress must wait four years before running for office in the other house.
-The President is limited to one six year term of office. If the President dies before the end of his or her term, Presidental sucession still applies - but the person may not hold another term if the original President dies less than halfway through his or her term.
-The President is not to run for elected office after his term in the White House is up, or hold a Federal post, for a 10 year period after leaving office. The only exception would be to assume a position of military leadership in times of war.
-The oath of office for the President and Vice-President is modified so that they are required to renounce their party affiliation while they are in office.
-The President is only able to call for martial law for a period of one month. Anything longer requires the assent of Congress and a 2/3 majority of the states. This approval must be secured within the one month time frame, otherwise martial law will expire at the end of the month. Any extension of marital law must also have a sunsest provision. Also, the Federal Government is responsible for any abuses carried out during those times.

Event Description: Alliance Leader George W. Bush announces that the Alliance has fulfilled its goals, and that it will disband when the next President is elected.

Event Description: George W. Bush narrowly escapes an assassination attempt. The would be assassin is killed during the attempt. The would be assassin is identified as a former major of the US Army who ran the prison at Fort Leavenworth - he was wanted for torture and murder. Bush said the major was someone who went after him because he didn't have anything to lose. The major was someone who was a dead man if he showed his face anywhere in the country.

Event Description: A huge underground crematorium is found in Eastern Pennsylvania - about 80 miles away from Washington, DC. It's speculated that people who the government caused to "disappear" wound up here.

Event Description: A formal indicment is drawn up against Clinton. Clinton is charged with mass murder, commission of war crimes against innocent civilians, numerous violations of people's civil rights, and a host of other crimes.

Event Description: A young army officer comfirms that people in Clinton's government had cremated most of the people who they had killed. The officer said they did this to avoid mass graves - that if these graves were found that there would be evidence pointing back to them.

Event Description: Hillary Clinton is captured outside Paris, France by French police. The French are very cooperative when the United States requests that she be extradited. The reason is that some in the French government had been supportive of Bill Clinton, and they don't want that to come to light.

Ms. Rodham needed time off emotionally to deal with the writing of the book. She earns hundreds of millions of dollars from royalties. She starts a non-Profit organization to help restore America.

Monica Lewinski and her six year old son, Nero Jefferson Lewinski, are found to be hiding in France. Clinton's son and his mother escape the authorities back into hiding. She is raising her son in the ways of his father. They hide among relief workers and arrive back in the U.S. Their names are now Maria Lewis and Nero Jeffrey Lewis.

Reluctantly the US government agrees, he will recive the trail. The only problem is find a lawyer to represt him.

Event Description: Michael Moore's latest movie, "Terrorist America" opens. It paints those who resisted Bill Clinton as religious fanatics, racists, terrorists, and so on. The movie quickly becomes a flop as no one goes to watch it. The few theaters that do show the film are soon the scenes of large protests.

Event Description: A lawsuit is filed against Michael Moore by a group of people. This group is made up of people who resisted Clinton, families who lost a member at the hands of Clinton's government, and people who were hurt by Clinton's government. The group asks for $50 million in damages.

Event Description: Michael Moore settles out of court with those who had filed the lawsuit against him. Moore no longer has the money to make films, and his making of "Terrorist America" makes him into a pariah in the Hollywood community. He also finds that no corporation wants to be within a mile of him. He retires from public life, returning to Flint, Michigan. Privately, Moore is unapologetic about the film, but keeps him observations to himself because going public would make him the target of further lawsuits.

Event Description: Bill Clinton dies when he and a party of his loyalists try to break him out of prison. All but one of the party that tried to break him out of prison are killed. Once taken into custody, the survior immediately begins telling officals of the elaborate scheme to break Clinton out of prison.

Event Description: Clinton's remains are cremated, and buried in an undisclosed location. Many Americans are happy that Clinton has died, and many breathe a sign of relief that Clinton would not have a chance to go to trial.

The Progressive Party wing ran a ticket of Zell Miller of Georgia and Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. They came in third. Second place was the Libertarian ticket, on which Harry Browne led, with Larry Elder as his running mate.

So you are saying you agree with someone else's paranoid view of what Clinton would have done (in an alternate universe, perhaps) if he had followed his supposed daydreams, ignored most every law on the books and tried to appoint himself despot? In that same world I'd have killed 50 or so people by now, just for starters. Thank God we ALL hold back!
