What the shit. I'm speechless right now. Just... what the shit.

You are speechless because you are not very smart. Rudy Guiliani had been running his mouth for years that there is no crime called collusion. That word came out of the mouth of Manafort. The media picked it up and started using it almost exclusively. Pretty obviously, most journalists, Manafort, and Firefly Fans have a child's level of understanding the laws, government, finance, physics, just about everything.

Don't make me pull up all of the bullshit you and the other chucklefucks here have posted about collusion over the years, troglodyte.

Nobody's giving any of your insane backpedaling any more credence than any of the other stupid bullshit you post.

Have fun the next two to six years with your witch hunt for, whateverthefuck Maddow tells you is going to get Trump impeached. Maybe the next one won't be an imaginary dragon you all chase around like children.

Seen the videos of you all crying the night it was announced that Hillary lost and it appears as if 2 1/2 years later the tears are still flowing steadily.

Good thing all you crybabies don't live in Texas, or you'd be liable to make Houston flood again.

The special counsel didn’t investigate “collusion” at all
https://qz.com/1598975/

Over the course of the investigation, Trump has tweeted 42 times that there was “no collusion” and is taking a victory lap today using the same phrase. But Trump's head is stuffed with straw.

The special counsel’s office didn’t look into collusion at all, the report states.

Instead, it “applied the framework of conspiracy law, not the concept of ‘collusion.'” Collusion is not a word with “legal force,” the report states, meaning it does not constitute a federal crime. “While the investigation identified numerous links between individuals with ties to the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump campaign, the evidence was not sufficient to support criminal charges,” of conspiracy.

Mueller report lays out obstruction evidence against the president
www.houstonchronicle.com/news/article/Attorney-general-to-provide-over
view-of-Mueller-13777039.php

The report from special counsel Robert Mueller III lays out in alarming detail abundant evidence against President Donald Trump, finding 10 "episodes" of potential obstruction of justice but ultimately concluding it was not Mueller's role to determine whether the commander in chief broke the law.

Repeatedly, it appears Trump may have been saved from more serious legal jeopardy because his own staffers refused to carry out orders they thought were problematic or potentially illegal.

The special counsel's report on possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russians to interfere in the 2016 election is extremely detailed with only modest redactions - painting a starkly different picture for Trump than Attorney General William Barr has offered, and revealing new details about interactions between Russians and Trump associates.

Mueller's team wrote that though their investigation "did not establish that the Trump Campaign coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities," that assertion was informed by the fact that coordination requires more than two parties "taking actions that were informed by or responsive to the other's actions or interests."

Mueller made it clear: Russia wanted to help the Trump campaign, and the Trump campaign was willing to take it.

Mueller's report suggests his obstruction of justice investigation was heavily informed by an opinion from the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) that says a sitting president cannot be indicted - a conclusion Mueller's team accepted.

That decision, though, seemed to leave investigators in a strange spot. Mueller's team wrote that they "determined not to apply an approach that could potentially result in a judgment that the President committed crimes." They seemed to shy from producing even an internal document that alleged the president had done something wrong - deciding, essentially, that they wouldn't decide.

Mueller Hints at a National-Security Nightmare: The missing piece of the report is a counterintelligence investigation that should set off alarm bells about our democracy and security.

Those incidents raise the possibility that Mr. Trump has wittingly sought to advance Russian interests, but the evidence is merely circumstantial and consequently suggests low to moderate confidence in that assessment. In many but not all respects, witting assets can be more dangerous because they have deliberately entered into some sort of understanding or agreement to work on behalf of the foreign power’s interests.

But unwitting assets pose their own dangers. They have significant vulnerabilities that can be exploited with minimal actual coordination. In other words, they look and act more like puppets.

Mueller identified 'dozens' of US rallies organized by Russian troll farm
https://thehill.com/policy/technology/439532-mueller-identified-dozens
-of-us-rallies-organized-by-russian-troll-farm

Trump campaign officials, including senior adviser Kellyanne Conway and Donald Trump Jr., cited and retweeted content from the troll farm about topics including voter fraud and Clinton's handling of classified information, according to Mueller.
Mueller's team found that Trump campaign affiliates promoted "dozens" of tweets, posts and other political content created by the IRA.

NBC News previously reported that Trump campaign associates amplified and reposted the IRA's messages.

Donald Trump Jr. in 2016 retweeted a post from @Pamela_Moore13, an IRA-controlled Twitter account, and in 2017, Trump from his personal Twitter account responded to a tweet from IRA-affilaited @10_GOP.

"IRA employees monitored the reaction of the Trump campaign and, later, Trump administration officials to their tweets," Mueller's report reads.

Mueller's investigation concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to boost Trump through a social media campaign coordinated by the IRA.

I was going to ask when we were going to get the sequel to Volume I, but it was packaged together like my recent DVD Ghostbusters boxed set acquisition.

Conveniently, Episode II starts on page 200.

I, for one, am not going to sit here and lie to anybody here about reading it. Weighing in somewhere in the ballpark of 450 pages of legalese, I'm not going to believe anybody here who says that they have read it either.

From some casual perusal of Act I, it seems to be either a baseless campaign of Red Baiting (Which could be the case, and anybody who remembers how Mueller lied to get us into war previously would second that), or what we have here is a step-by-step "How Not To Do Things" document that quite a few higher ups in Russia have no doubt already been pouring over in preparation for their next illegal campaign if it actually is true.

This particular PDF, at least with the software I have on this computer, is not a searchable document. I remember hearing somebody write that they had a searchable document in their possession, and/or they had software that would allow you to search this PDF. I usually have no trouble searching a PDF through Firefox without the need for any extensions or outside programs, which leads me to believe that this is a problem with this particular document itself.

Would be much obliged to anyone for pointing us in the direction of a searchable document, or short of that, uploading it somewhere and posting the link for download.

The only way that this document is really going to be of any use to anybody who is not a "Journalist" or a Russian operative, either which are being paid to slog through this, is if we can have a searchable document.

Thanks in advance.

Trump’s 50 Tweets in 24 Hours Are a Frightening Window Into the Presidential Mind

Fox News is playing on loop in the background, reassuring him that all his critics are lying enemies of the state. What could go wrong?

"The Wall is being rapidly built!" our fearless leader declared. "The Economy is GREAT! Our Country is Respected again!"

The Wall has become a quantum object: it is both Being Built and in desperate need of funding to be built — so much so that the president declared a phony national emergency to seize the money from Congress in a direct assault on the Constitution's separation of powers. And the nation's Respect-o-Meter is certainly not moving in a positive direction.

It would be a bit more reassuring if it were not merely the latest of more than fifty tweets the world's most powerful man has fired off to reinforce the very important thing to remember, which is that The President Has Been Very Badly Mistreated!

Rosenstein defends Russia investigation, takes shots at Obama administration

Rod Rosenstein chastised “critical decisions” he said had been made about the investigation before he arrived by the Obama administration and then-FBI director James Comey, including not divulging more about Russia’s meddling. He compared the atmosphere of his time as DOJ’s No. 2 to a parable about a man who laid down on a burning bed.

“The previous administration chose not to publicize the full story about Russian computer hackers and social media trolls, and how they relate to a broader strategy to undermine America,” he said.

www.politico.com/story/2019/04/26/rosenstein-russia-investigation-1290

A tabloid newspaper carried the story, stating simply that a small-town emergency squad was summoned to a house where smoke was pouring from an upstairs window. The crew broke in and found a man in a smoldering bed. After the man was rescued and the mattress doused, the obvious question was asked: “How did this happen?”

“I don’t know. It was on fire when I lay down on it.”

The latest I heard was that WAPO discovered that Russian hackers infiltrated a Florida voting district. Only thing, they don't know which one. The details I heard were sketchy at best, but I'll try to found out more and pass it on.

At least I can speak to those here with a modicum of intelligence, and not these half-assed, supposed "intelligent" Putin ass-kissers who cite ZeroHedge.

I found this online:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/08/17/has-russia-hacked-in
to-floridas-election-system-theres-no-evidence/?utm_term=.fe04a70b680a

But, apparently, despite the fact that this is an old story (from August 2018), it seems that "we" cannot relax. Russia is still up to it's old tricks.

This is Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.)

Quote:

Nelson: “Right now. Senator Rubio and I have written a letter together to all 67 of the county supervisors of election. He is a member of the Intelligence Committee; I am the ranking member of the Cyber subcommittee of the Senate Armed Services Committee. We were requested by the chairman and vice chairman of the Intelligence Committee to let the supervisors of election in Florida know that the Russians are in their records. … Two senators — bipartisan — reached out to the election apparatus in Florida to let them know that the Russians are in the records, and all they have to do, if those election records are not protected, is to go in and start eliminating registered voters.”

further down in the article:

Quote:

“And you can imagine the chaos that would occur on Election Day when the voters get to the polls and they say, ‘I’m sorry, Mr. Smith. I’m sorry, Mr. Jones. You’re not registered.’ ‘Well, here’s my registration card.’ ‘Well, I’m sorry, you’re not in the registration records.’ Well, you can imagine. That’s exactly what the Russians want to do. They want to sow chaos in our democratic institutions. Every intelligence agency in the United States government has said that they are going to try to disrupt the 2018 elections, just like they did in 2016.”

We want to be clear here: This fact check is not about the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment and the bipartisan consensus that Russia plans to interfere in the 2018 elections, as it did in 2016. It is about Nelson’s specific claim that Russia has access to voter rolls in Florida.

Trump is a big fan of Fox News and often praises the network’s journalists and commentators. But Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano has recently spoken up quite a bit against Trump, particularly after the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s redacted report. “I am disappointed in the behavior of the president,” Napolitano said earlier this week. “If he had ordered his aides to violate federal law to save a human life or to preserve human freedom, he would at least have a moral defense to his behavior,” he added. “But ordering them to break federal law to save him from the consequences of his own behavior, that is immoral, that is criminal, that is defenseless, that is condemnable.” He also published a scathing op-ed earlier this week that said Mueller “laid out at least a half-dozen crimes of obstruction committed by Trump.”

What is Trump going to do to Napolitano? Lie about him, laughing that nobody can verify Trump’s stories without Trump's help, so the news has to, absolutely, accept Trump's lies as truth:

President Donald Trump slammed Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano on Saturday night, accusing the former judge of getting angry when the commander in chief refused to nominate him to the Supreme Court. Trump also claimed that he rejected a request to pardon one of Napolitano’s friends.

In a pair of tweets after his campaign rally in Wisconsin, Trump said that Napoitano had become “very hostile” toward his administration after he rejected his requests. “Ever since Andrew came to my office to ask that I appoint him to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I said NO, he has been very hostile! Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good ‘pal’ of low ratings Shepard Smith,” the president said, referring to another member of Fox News who has been more critical of Trump.

apparently "S""G""G", you missed the important part of the headline which says "There is no evidence". Instead, you dig down deep into the article which quotes two idiots (Nelson, Rubio) and their idiot opinions, deomonstrating once again that you can't tell the difference between evidence and accusation.

This is very much like the presumed "hack" of the DNC server. How do we "know" that it was "hacked"? Because Crowdstrike* told us so!

Not only is there NO EVIDENCE that the ANY of the computers were "hacked" by ... anyone ... there is possible evidence that the DNC files were in fact copied onsite by someone with "legitimate access".

Now, what kind of "evidence" would be available?

1) Computer logfiles, which show which ports are accessed, and when. Even if the relevant logfiles were erased, they would leave a blank spot in the record. And in the case of the DNC compuer "hack", if someone were expert enough and had access enough (root access) to do that, they wouldn't be stupid enough to embed Russian-looking change codes in the document stylesheets themselves.

If no files were transmitted to or from a Florida computer in question, the tipoff about this supposed "hack" would be in the logfiles, which are obtained by someone with root access querying the computer directly.

2) NSA interception. The NSA surveils packets that cross our national boundaries; for all I know this surveillance is universal. The files would be transmitted in "packets" and each "packet" has a header which lists the source and destination addresses of the "packet". Each file requires many "packets" and there were many files; I haven't calculated how many "packets" that would require but it would be in the tens of thousands ... this would not have been a small transmission ... and all the NSA wouldhave to do is capture ONE. Which they never did.

Do you really think that anyone could make the claim that the Russians had "hacked" "a" system in Florida and NOT KNOW WHICH ONE? Because you would have either had to have a logfile or a transmission, both of which would mean the computer in question would be known.

I REALLY THINK IT WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR ALL CONCERNED, BUT ESPECIALLY FOR YOU, GSTRING, SEONDRATE, THGR, TWITCHY, AND REAVERBOT, TO THINK ABOUT THE NATURE OF "EVIDENCE"

*A private computer security firm employed by the DNC, which refused to turn over the computer to the FBI for independent examination!

Trump welcomed Russian help in 2016 and he wants more in 2020. Despite what a Russian troll might say, Mueller made it very clear Trump received help.

The 12 Russian names from Mueller’s indictment

1) Viktor Borisovich Netyksho,
2) Boris Alekseyevich Antonov,
3) Dmitriy Sergeyevich Badin,
4) Ivan Sergeyevich Yermakov,
5) Aleksey Viktorovich Lukashev,
6) Sergey Aleksandrovich Morgachev,
7) Nikolay Yuryevich Kozachek,
8) Pavel Vyacheslavovich Yershov,
9) Artem Andreyevich Malyshev,
10) Aleksandr Vladimirovich Osadchuk,
11) Aleksey Aleksandrovich Potemkin, and
12) Anatoliy Sergeyevich Kovalev

2. Defendants were GRU officers who knowingly and intentionally conspired with each other, and with persons known and unknown to the Grand Jury (collectively the “Conspirators”), to gain unauthorized access (to “hack”) into the computers of U.S. persons and entities involved in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, steal documents from these computers, and stage releases of the stolen documents to interfere with the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

3. Starting in at least March 2016, the Conspirators used a variety of means to hack the email accounts of Volunteers and employees of the U.S. presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton (the “Clinton Campaign”), including the email account of the Clinton Campaign’s chairman.

4. By in or around April 2016, the Conspirators also hacked into the computer networks of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic National Committee. The Conspirators covertly monitored the computers of dozens of and DNC employees, implanted hundreds of files containing malicious computer code (“malware”), and stole emails and other documents from the DCCC and DNC.

Those named Russians were placed on a list based on a "hack" which has not yet been demonstrated. You can repeat the list of names over and over again, but it does not add to the weight of evidence, they are merely additional details on an as yet unproven accusation. All it would require to create this list is to go to the GRU org chart and start checking off names, no evidence is required for their inclusion.

Go back to the original evidence of the "hack", SECONDRATE. Since the DNC refused the FBI access to their computer we don't have direct, unconflicted evidence of this so-called "hack" ... there are no independently-verified log files that I know of, no NSA-intercepted transmissions (not even one packet out of tens of thousands).. and of course the named GRU officers will never appear in USA court, so the indictment will never be tested.

What there is are statements by both Craig Murray and Julian Assange that the source was not a Russian, that the source is personally known to them, that the file transfer rates and "last modified" timestamp and file format all typical of local copy to a USB stick, plus some hinky file modifications in Guccifer2.0' files (which btw do not appear in Assange's) which some say are deliberately embedded to create the appearance of having been modified in a Russian-language word editor. (Why anyone would edit these files is beyond me, apparently the edits were random and purposeless.)

It is a common trick of propagandists, liars, and prosecutors to make their allegations so heinous and/or so detailed that they evoke feelings of outrage and/or trust, but these are not EVIDENCE.

If you have any EVIDENCE ... you DO know what evidence is, do you not? ... please bring it forward for discussion, and stop harping on details of the allegation which so far appear to be groundless.

Oh, BTW... Trump was JOKING. Even I, humorless as I am, recognized snark when I heard it. Jeez, you're fucking clueless.

It's a cheap statement to make if they know they'll never have to back it up in trial.

OK, so then let them write a report with the evidence in it. In fair trial they'd have to show their evidence to the accused anyway, so ... no loss there. Go public, I say, and stop with the allegations.

When the indictment came out in 2018, Putin's response was that these GRU intelligence officers did not exist, nobody in Russia had those names, and it is against Russian law to deport them to America for a trial if they did exist. As I understand it, Mueller also indicted a private company, which DID show up for it's day in court. Among other things, Mueller indicted the company using a name that didn't even exist at the time. Also the Mueller team apparently didn't want to share their evidence with the defense because they said it was classified or some such. Well, classified or not, prosectors have to share their evince with the defense. After that, nothing showed up in the press.

Mueller Indicted A Russian Company That Didn't Even Exist, Court Transcripts Say

Quote:

This week, one of the Russian companies accused by Special Counsel Robert Mueller of funding a conspiracy to meddle in the 2016 U.S. presidential election was revealed in court to not have existed during the time period alleged by Mueller's team of prosecutors, according to a lawyer representing the defendant.

U.S. Magistrate Judge G. Michael Harvey asked Eric Dubelier, one of two lawyers representing the accused Russian company, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, if he was representing a third company listed in Mueller's indictment.

"What about Concord Catering?" Harvey asked Dubelier. "The government makes an allegation that there's some association. I don't mean for you to – do you represent them, or not, today? And are we arraigning them as well?"

"We're not," Dubelier responded. "And the reason for that, Your Honor, is I think we're dealing with a situation of the government having indicted the proverbial ham sandwich."

"That company didn't exist as a legal entity during the time period alleged by the government," Dubelier continued. "If at some later time they show me that it did exist, we would probably represent them. But for purposes of today, no, we do not."

Mueller Scrambles To Limit Evidence After Indicted Russians Actually Show Up In Court

Quote:

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is scrambling to limit pretrial evidence handed over to a Russian company he indicted in February over alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, according to Bloomberg.

Mueller asked a Washington federal Judge for a protective order that would prevent the delivery of copious evidence to lawyers for Concord Management and Consulting, LLC, one of three Russian firms and 13 Russian nationals. The indictment accuses the firm of producing propaganda, pretending to be U.S. activists online and posting political content on social media in order to sow discord among American voters.

The special counsel's office argues that the risk of the evidence leaking or falling into the hands of foreign intelligence services, especially Russia, would assist the Kremlin's active "interference operations" against the United States.

Smooth anti-American move, deep state troll.

Now, do you suppose you could discuss EVIDENCE? Or are you allergic to truth?

There is evidence Trump said "Witch Hunt" a thousand times. Why was Trump hostile to investigating Russia? Who knows why Trump does anything? Mueller tried to ask him why, but Trump's answers were "I do not recall" repeated dozens of times in appendix C of Mueller's report. For example:

"I have no recollection of being told during the campaign that any foreign government or foreign leader had provided, wished to provide, or offered to provide tangible support to my campaign."

"I do not recall being aware during the campaign of specific efforts by foreign individuals or companies to assist my campaign through the use of social media postings or the organization of rallies."

"I have no recollection of the details of what, when, or from what source I first learned about the change to the platform amendment regarding arming Ukraine, but I generally recall learning of the issue as part of media reporting. I do not recall being involved in changing the language to the amendment."

There is your evidence that Trump is unaware.

Mueller came to the same conclusion that the Russians did: Trump will take Russian help, but Trump is too stupid to coordinate anything with anybody. The Russians will help him and not try to explain it to him.

Trump never stopped calling Mueller's investigation a "Witch Hunt". He said it at a campaign rally this weekend. It is pretty much evidence that Trump is very dumb. Or he thinks people at his rally are. But smart people have the proof it was not a witch hunt:

Russians allegedly deleted all of the logs from their C2 server that “documented their activities,” including their login history.
BUT NO LOGFILES FROM THE DNC COMPUTERS? All this says us that someone logged into a server in Arizona. There appears to be no logs available from the [presumed] target computer(s) at the DNC because .... why? This would really clinch the deal, and anyone could find them, or at least locate the holes where they were deleted. (These logfiles are all timestamped. Even on our own no-account home PC, there is attempted communication many many times a minute, leaving a continuous stream of entries. Because the stream is so continuous, it's obvious where there are gaps.)

In addition to leasing a server in Arizona, the Russians also allegedly leased a separate server in Illinois that they used for a separate piece of malware called X-Tunnel, which was responsible for compressing and then uploading gigabytes of stolen documents from the DCCC and DNC networks to the server in Illinois “through encrypted channels.”
So, what happened to these files? Were they erased from the server? Bleachbitted? Transmitted to Russia? Transmitted elsewhere? If the FBI had access to this server, they certainly would have been able to find the end of this story, but they didn't.

It seems as if they had access to SOME details but many others ... evidence that would have "sealed the deal" and allowed them to draw a straight line from one computer to another and thence to Russia ... are missing.

Why?

If they had the kind of access that the article implies, including real-time access when the Arizona (and possibly Illinois) servers were active, what happened to the rest of the info? Why do they have to draw such sketchy lines? Why aren't the DNC logfiles available?

And furthermore, why haven't they interviewed Julian Assange and Craig Murray?

The article is written in the kind of style that just shoots stuff at a wall to see what sticks. But when I re-arrange it in logical sequence, the gaps and weaknesses become evident. There is a source and destination for these files, and each source and each destination keeps files on who did what, when. And if they were transmitted anywhere over the internet, but especially overseas, all the NSA would have to do is intercept one packet out of tens of thousands in order to validate the "Russian hacking" story. And yet, the NSA is the one with the least confidence in this "Russian hacking" scenario.

I'll go over the article again, and show you my re-arrangement and also the gaps that don't make sense. Maybe on second reading it will make more sense but right now it looks like someone trying to fluff up nothing into something.

Signym, I fail to see why Trump was worried about what Mueller might have found on the Russians. If Trump and Putin had been working together, it is not a crime:

Amid the growing power struggle between Congress and the White House, U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Houston, intends to press for legislation that could land a candidate or staff member in jail for five years for working with a foreign agent.

Democrats in Texas are debating how to proceed when Congress reconvenes next week after Easter recess, the first session since release of the Mueller report exonerating President Donald Trump of crimes in the Russian meddling in U.S. elections, but also raising red flags regarding Trump’s attempts to protect himself from the special counsel’s investigation.

I cannot understand why Trump made such a big deal out of nothing. It was all perfectly legal. Those mean Democrats are planning on making it illegal, but Trump will never sign that law.

I probably should mention that Jackson Lee’s newly drafted Foreign Interference in American Elections Act of 2019 would require candidates or campaign aides to refuse assistance from any foreign government and to tell the FBI about such offers within 72 hours of being contacted. It would apply even to volunteers. Again, whatever might have happened between Trump/Putin is not yet a crime.
