I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Just a bit of a prediction: If the GOP holds the House, RUSSIA!!! will be blamed, but if the Dems win that topic will never come up.

I see folk jabbering about GoP Win. So you feelz the House Majority is the yardstick?

Given up on Senate Majority? Not even hoping for a 1 Senator gain for Dem?
Assuming Dems remain Minority, how many Senate Seat gain would be considered GoP Win?

If House conforms to the trend and gains GoP Seats, how many is considered a GoP Win?

If House gains some Dem Seats, how many is considered a Dem Win, or GoP Loss?

For your entertainment I give you....Boris the Blade (chorus)

I heard one pundit say the night was a win for the pollsters because so many got it right (mostly). Unlike 2016, where the polls were *some how* so wrong, an election where there was definite Russian intervention, whether through attempts to mess with actual voting machines or rampant social media manipulation. So, yes, if the polls were as wrong as they were during a Russian tampered election, then I would have definitely said Russia! Do you have any idea how many places Russia has hacked voting machines or social media? And of course it's not just them that do it.
Word of caution: You need to be careful because if you say "we do it too!" then you have to acknowledge that Russia does it as well. Sometimes... they even do it better than we do. And sometimes not.

And wrong-o about if the Dems win it won't come up! With the Dem win it means Mueller doesn't have the specter of being fired hanging over his shoulder - he is free to continue his investigation and find out if there was collusion with Russia (which, let's be honest, he already has).

There was no Russian interference in 2016.

There was no Russian interference in 2018.

Though I can appreciate not being a poor winner, you guys should really work on not being poor losers too.

This midterm went just like most midterms go, except the GOP actually growing in power in the Senate is an anomoly.

Why don't you show you're not complete spoiled sports and congratulate the Trump administration for making history here?

Quote:

It was the first time since the nation started directly electing senators in 1914 that a party has won control of the House without gaining seats in the Senate. The gains are significant because a larger Republican plurality will make it easier for Trump to have cabinet and judicial nominees approved.
