Yes, I know. People exactly like Trump existed back in the day, so much so
that thousands upon tens of thousands died and suffered.

But this topic is focused upon Trump being a scumbag.

Why not? It will bring SOME recognition to the fact that our nation was born in genocide as well as slavery and the concept of democracy.

But if you want to make this an easier comparison, how about starting with Kennedy?

I am assuming that this is to support the facts that the Trolls and other Libtards supported antics in Middle East.
In a thread as scatter-brained as this one, it might help to include mention of that. I assume there are mountains of evidence for further factual posts.

Buyers tied to Russia, Soviet republics made 86 all cash sales for Trump properties worth $109 millions
http://amp.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/white-house/articl
e210477439.html

"Buyers connected to Russia or former Soviet republics made 86 all-cash sales — totaling nearly $109 million — at 10 Trump-branded properties in South Florida and New York City, according to a new analysis shared with McClatchy. Many of them made purchases using shell companies designed to obscure their identities." "“The size and scope of these cash purchases are deeply troubling as they can often signal money laundering activity," said Rep. Adam Schiff of California, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee and a former federal prosecutor. "There have long been credible allegations of money laundering by the Trump Organization which, if true, would pose a real threat to the United States in the event that Russia were able to leverage evidence of illicit financial transactions"

Buyers include:

Anatoly Golubchik, found guilty in 2013 of operating a sports betting ring for a Russian-American organized crime group

Peter Kiritchenko, a Ukrainian businessman who prosecutors accused of laundering tens of millions of dollars

Eduard Nektalov, a Uzbeki diamond dealer was arrested on charges he laundered drug money

Aleksandr Burman, does not have a medical license, opened six clinics in Brooklyn as part of a scheme to defraud Medicare and New York State Medicaid programs of more than $26 million. Currently serving a 10 year prison sentence.

Chairman of an oil related rail company with ties to Putin and whos founder is under sanctions.

Buyers connected to Russia or former Soviet Republics are ALSO buying properties from other real estate holders, and in London. I guess this means that Theresa May is in cahoots with Putin as well?

Your article cites Ukrainian purchases in 2009, purchases by Crimean oligarchs form 2007-2009, a Russian oligarch's purchase in 2010 ... what the fuck does that have to do with today?

The reality is that oligarchs from China, Russia, and ex-Soviet republics are stashing with wealth in properties all over the world. NYC, London, Vancouver ... anywhere they think that real estate values will hold up, so they can move their ill-gotten gains out of the reach of their governments. The money outflow is in the BILLIONS of dollars.

Trump, Whose Restaurant Has 78 Health-Code Violations, Calls Red Hen ‘Filthy’

Donald Trump Slams Red Hen, But Mar-a-lago Restaurant Has 'Dirty' History of Health Violations
http://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-red-hen-mar-lago-health-993790

"The Red Hen restaurant, located in Lexington Virginia, hasn’t seen any “critical” health code violations since 2014, when the restaurant was cited for not properly labeling stored grits and for storing raw beef above ready-to-eat food. The only other violation came in 2017, when it was cited for storing pickles in a jar that wasn’t from an approved food processing plant.

Outside of the kitchen, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort has also been cited for general maintenance issues. In January 2018, the club was cited for two high-priority violations: missing concrete on a staircase that exposed steel rebar, and a lack of smoke detectors that could alert the hearing-impaired with flashing lights."

Whatever the truth is, Blumpy can be counted on to say the opposite.

A person who has made illegal entry may apply for asylum. However, the US reserves the right to detain that person while determining his/ her status. If the status is determined to be ineligible, that person may be deported immediately, at the discretion of relevant officials. That person also becomes permanently ineligible for any type of legal stay in the US in the future.

http://www.alllaw.com/articles/nolo/us-immigration/legal-options-undoc
umented-illegal-immigrant-stay.html

Entering the United States without approval is illegal. So is staying in the U.S. without permission after your visa or other authorized stay has expired. Even violating the terms of a legal entry can make your stay illegal.
The U.S. immigration law offers very few options to go from being illegal or undocumented immigrant to a U.S. permanent resident (with a green card).
You can apply for the right to stay in the U.S. if you qualify for asylum and apply within one year of your entry or the expiration of your authorized stay. You’ll need to show that you have been persecuted, or fear future persecution, in your home country, based on your race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. The process involves submitting an application, together with detailed documentation of your membership in the group that you claim and the persecution that you faced or fear. If you are granted asylum, you can apply for a green card one year after your approval, and for U.S. citizenship four years after that. (If denied, you will be deported.).

https://immigration.findlaw.com/visas/immigration-through-adjustment-o
f-immigrant-status.html

Those wishing to adjust to immigrant status must physically be present in the U.S. and must have entered the U.S. legally (with some exceptions, including battered family members). Whether or not you are eligible to adjust your status is determined by your basis to immigrate (detailed below): ie, whether it is family based, employment based, part of a humanitarian program, or a special case (see instructions for Form I-360 for more details).

But while you're here in the US illegally, the government reserves the right to detain you.

https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/research/asylum-united-stat
es

Defensive Asylum: A person who is in removal proceedings may apply for asylum defensively by filing the application with an immigration judge at the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) in the Department of Justice. In other words, asylum is applied for “as a defense against removal from the U.S.” Unlike the criminal court system, EOIR does not provide appointed counsel for individuals in immigration court, even if they are unable to retain an attorney on their own.
While U.S. law provides arriving asylum seekers the right to be in the United States while their claim for protection is pending, the government has argued that it has the right to detain such individuals.

Now, bombing, shooting, shelling, and torturing people - or paying, training and equipping others to do it for you ... CLEARLY does harm, so before we start down that road we have to make sure that we aren't doing more harm than good. The only way I know to ensure THAT is to make sure that you only use violence to directly defend yourself or others against violence. Otherwise you will probably wind up killing people because of "communism" or "freedom" or some other rationalization, and wind up doing far more harm than good.

One of the other problems using violence to achieve political ends is that once that process starts, only the most violent will get their way. In a nation with elections, there is absolutely no purpose to initiating or stoking violence, and any group that does that should be immediately suspect. That includes us.

Sigs,

Perhaps you could point out just what your above statement has to do with the
topic at hand....namely, Why Trump is a scumbag.

P.S. As far as insults is concerned, I've seen this movie before. There have been
a number of times that you have offered to "dispense with the egregious insults"
and when I do dispense, off you go and we're right back at it. It seems that
whenever we disagree you resort to insults; so I suggest we go about the business
at hand and I will see where this goes.

Because you PRESUME that Trump is a "scumbag" without looking at other Presidents and THEIR levels of scumbaggery. You get all tied up in knots, outraged and spittle flying, about events that are less consequential than other events over which you stayed SILENT. I don't recall ... did you have anything to say about Obama being a "scumbag" because he destroyed Libya and tried to destroy Syria, killing hundreds of thousands and displacing millions?

And if not, why not?

Because if not, either you're a hypocrite, or a coward, or an idiot, or in extreme denial, or just a good-old-fashioned warmonger, or you have SUCH bias that you would literally ignore the piles of bodies that former Presidents have left in their wake, in many cases creating the very migrant crisis that you're currently all agitated about.

*****

Trump, for all of his faults, has withdrawn funding the terrorists who were pulling Syria apart. Libya is being allowed to pull itself together, without further covert or military interference. Peace appears to be breaking out in Korea. A summit with Putin is scheduled for July. Trump appears to be doing FAR LESS HARM that Obama and Bush. If you have a criticism and it involves Trump's foreign policy killing MORE people than before, I'm all ears. I've heard some criticism along those lines, and I'm ready to hear more. But your constant bleating about Trump trivia is stupid, and worse.

Oh, and btw, lest you misrepresent my POV with the whole "family separation" thing, I'm against it. I'm also against moving our embassy to Jerusalem. Let's agree to agree on that, and move on.

God bless these freedom-loving patriots!

For contrast, Google "White Sharia" and the Atomwaffen Division. The Atomwaffen Division had plans to bomb a fucking NUCLEAR POWER PLANT in Miami and "White Sharia" is the Alt Right's unironic desire to commit mass rapes in public.

Just so we are clear: I don't presume, I know Trump is a Scumbag. He is a racist,
homophobic, misogynistic, egotistical, narcissistic scumbag. To be clear.

Quote:

No, because I love Obama, he's the sweetest man in the world.

You know Sigs, I'm glad I waited to respond to your request, no, your begging for
help getting the "others" to listen to you. Talk about "spittle" flying about.
Listen I don't like to kick a "man" when he's down, so I'll dispense with the
unpleasantries. But you really need to get a grip. "Hypocrite, coward, idiot"
that's the way to re-establish civil dialogue and communication. You can write
whatever you want, I have no qualms or quibbles regarding your little rants;
this is still a free country (last time I looked). But that does not obligate me
to respond in kind. I, pick and choose if and when.

You think I'm agitated? You don't know shit about me.
