I sat and watched as teens and younger kids walked up to the microphones and spoke strongly and eloquently about the impact gun violence has had on their lives.

It reminded me of the 70s and how young and old alike protested the war in Vietnam. But this was something different, something so special that stirred my emotions and girded my resolve. It moved me in a unique way, it made me proud, and I couldn't figure out exactly why. Then it hit me, gone was the feeling of utter frustration, of inevitability. These kids have realized that the only way to be heard is to shout. Shout from the rooftops, speak truth no matter what.

And speak it they did. Their truth. Not the adults version of the truth, but their reality. They are intelligent and cannot be intimidated. Wow, I said to myself, this is NO BULLSHIT, these kids mean business. In little over a month, they have captured lightning in a bottle, but unlike any lightning I or anyone could have imagined. In that short period of time they have moved the needle ever so slightly, an earthquake of social change.

I sat and watched an 11 year-old black girl call out the nation's media and their failure to report on the loss of lives in the black community. I was floored by her stalwart demeanor, her calmness, her resolve to get her message across without so much as a quiver in her voice. She even paused to allow for applause. Media savy at that age is remarkable. And so, here I am, remarking on her presentation before hundreds of thousands in our nation's capital. Bravo, I say Bravo!

Her name is Naomi Wadler. I will never forget her name, because we will be hearing from her in the near future. And really, that's what this was all about.

Proud of you my dear.

Was this Truancy scam a more successful Voter Registration Drive for Democraps than the Motor Voter Legislation?

Was Naomi from Chicago? Or does she not care about more Black Lives being snuffed out in a Windy City weekend than the whole year at Stoneman Douglas? Both of which, BTW, are strictly anti-gun. Does she not care about Black Lives, or is she merely brainwashed?

I am shocked, just shocked I say, that the Libtard Media Prep & Training Machine was able to train these monkeys in only 1,000 hours - as if they've been training with this template for years!! Oh, wait - they actually have been practicing this training for years.

Is this child training campaign more successful than the kids against tobacco?

Yes, this country is in good hands. Thank God!

Pretty soon the old farts who talk so much shit will be gone, 6 Feet under, the Big Dirt Nap, Adios! Then maybe we could get back to the future.

There's Hope!

Us adults could learn a lot from those "kids!" Awesome stuff - it's so encouraging to see so much intelligence and confidence from that generation.

The problem with kids is that they don't know anything about the real world. It's pretty easy to deal in absolutes when your parents pay for everything that tax dollars aren't already paying for.

That's why so many of them today are still living at home in their 30's.

It's going to be hard to lead the world from Mom's basement.

Agreed. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how assured they were as teen after teen stepped up to the mic and poured their hearts out.

Heady stuff. Today's youth are far more advanced, eductionally speaking, than the kids of my day. This is a good sign.

Pragmatist.

I disagree that kids today are more evolved emotionally than they used to be. They're coddled babies, and they don't learn anything about the real world all the way up through college. When many of them go home to their parents and can't find good enough jobs to move out on their own, they continue to be coddled babies.

What's going to happen when they're the parents? When adult-babies can't support themselves are supposed to take care of their own adult-babies?

Just like they effected Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh. Those fickle unprincipled advertisers have been begging to be allowed to buy ad time on those shows, after leaving the queue. Those magnanimous men have even removed the lists of fickle advertisers, one must look elsewhere for those lists of censors.

Curious how these untrained, unindoctrinated, unprogrammed kids are faithfully copying the Libtard playbook for Democrap Voter Registration, chapter and verse.
Nobody will ever see through that. At least not the gullible Libtards.

Yeah, here's the thing. Libtards, as you call them, spend money as much as the propagandist right wing nutjobs. The only reason why advertisers and corporate opportunists are bailing on Fox shows is GREEN. No other reason. Not red, not blue.....but GREEN. Fox is bleeding profusely from a rather large gash left by fucking with these smart teens from Parkland. Advertisers are sprinting away from the stupid Ingraham, but that won't last, it's only until things quiet down.

That may take a while. These kids are pretty determined. When was the last time you saw 800,000 people marching in Washington? Oh yeah, that's right, the Women's march.

That is the only true driving force. Once this dies down, they'll be back to siphon dollar bills from nutjobs and libtards alike. This has nothing to do with being gullible, if that were so the march of the wooden dickwads would dwarf the amount of that of the libtards.

WTF!? What does voter registration have to do with the mass shooting and the subsequent response by that community. What have you been smoking?

Let me school you some on the very well educated teenagers of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. They are NOT your inner city kids that get little to no support in sound educational base. These teens live in an affluent area of Florida
and get top notch teachers who are supported, not only by the system, but by the parents who pay high property taxes. The teachers, a couple of which gave their lives, are doing an excellent job in educating these young people. One kid, who graduated last year, spoke glowingly of one of those teachers who died protecting his students. Who was also the football coach.

That's who they are. It's no wonder these kids are so together, with a community at large who greatly supports the school and it's students. They have a strong system of education and the value shows in the tenor of the young adults behavior.
They are not afraid to speak their truth. NO ONE has the right to deny them their truth, these young people that lived through an unspeakable horror - a mass shooting, that affected their peers and their mentors. Not you, me or Ingraham.

You want to call them names and ridicule them? Go right ahead, join the mob. Democracy is not a spectator sport. You want to call it a playbook, sure! But it's one that was played over 230 years ago. Freedom doesn't come cheap, but if you want to live under someone's thumb then keep doing what you're doing.

Yes. I rered it and it seemz amatuerish, sloppy, not up to standardz. Like I sed, I dont no if thats wy they turned it down, but it coudnt hurt if it wuz good quality.

Herez wut I sent:

Quote:

The founding fathers failed the nation when they wrote the 2nd Amendment. Rather than being the key to America's success, as gun proponents would have us believe, private ownership of firearms has resulted in an unrestrained continuous assault on the very concept of civilized society.

Their failure was essentially one of foresight.

Whether or not it was possible for any of them to conceive of weapons that can be concealed under one's shirt that could enable a single soldier to wipe out an entire brigade is debatable.

What is not is that they failed to include any sort of counterbalancing force within the amendment to preclude the obvious possibility of weapons technology amplifying the destructive power of individuals beyond all reason.

All the arguments interpreting the 2nd Amendment that are used to enable ownership of a simple .22 revolver make equal sense for a nuclear missile. It is only a lack of total insanity that enabled our law makers to draw a line somewhere to prohibit ownership of major military hardware.

Due to the virtual impossibility of repealing the amendment, what is needed is a counterbalance external to the Constitution.

The Gun Incident Tax is a proposal that puts the entire monetary cost of the bloodshed and destruction caused by privately owned firearms on the owners, manufacturers and proponent organizations. Unlike specific laws and regulations which only nibble at the edges of the problem, the GIT provides a foundation upon which new laws aimed at reducing the financial burden will be eagerly sought by those who want to own guns as well as their suppliers and representatives.

What most current owners will decide, I believe, is that they do not want to pay so much for what is essentially a hobby. Offering them a full retail turn-in option will open up the drain on the massive saturation that enables the carnage. Gradually, it will be less and less easy for anybody to get a gun, whether legally or not.

Even if it costs billions of dollars beyond what is collected by the GIT system, it will
be worth it to every person who does not get their life derailed by permanent injury or ended by death. However, given that the idea is properly enacted and executed, rather than watered down and mangled into junk by the legislators, the amounts collected will far exceed the retail value of all the guns in the nation.

Therez an 800 word limit. dont no if thats more kuz I did it in their submission form wich duznt provide a count.

There's 406 words.

You should download a free program called Notepad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.5.6.html

You can go to "View" then select "Summary" and it will tell you how many characters (without blanks), words, lines, and total document length (with spaces).

I haven't used the MS Office 2007 disk somebody gave me with a license volume key since around 2010. Google docs and Google word give you everything M$ office does, but for free. Notepad++ does some stuff that neither of them do.

I haven't paid for a version of Windows since 98. Microsoft finally caught on and gave away Windows 10 for free.

For graphics, I use a free program called Paint.NET. Some people prefer the free program GIMP. That's a little too advanced for me though, since I'm not a graphic artist. My brother has been using Photoshop all his adult life with his photography, but recently gave it up for a paid for Indie program that is only 40 bucks and does everything that Photoshop does.

Word Perfect didn't die because of M$. Word Perfect was a relic of a different time and by any standard today it sucks. I had M$ Office at home in high school when they were teaching Word Perfect in my HS Keyboarding class. It was already extremely outdated in '96 when my school was teaching us with it.

There's a lot of "free" programs out there that aren't actually free or just plain suck. There are some good ones, however, if you know where to look for them.

I couldn't tell you man. It was a blue background with white characters on it. I seem to recall some red color in there as well. It was a relic compared to what you could do on Win95 at the time.

I dunno man. I don't even know what Norell is. You didn't mean Novell, did you?

Even still, probably not much. I didn't have a PC until '94 or so and used it mostly for games at the time.

Okay dude, I read it and you're right it is a bit of a challenge to read.
When all else fails use the KISS method. Keep It Simple Stupid. Please know that I'm not insulting you, that is the saying.

Your opening sentence was good, but then you lost me, the reader I mean. When you sit down to rewrite ask yourself what it is you're trying to say. What point are you trying to bring out. Get to the point as quickly as possible, they don't want a book. Actually, there were more paragraphs throughout your piece that made sense, but then you followed it up with run-on sentences and misused words.

Here's what you do to keep focused. Jot down your main theme or idea, and then stick to it. You build a house. Get the facts on whatever the topic is, and then point your idea at it. As you write, keep it simple.

My intent iz to get sum MSM coveraj on the GIT plan.

Part uv wut they say they want in an oped iz sumthing orijinal and fresh, so I coudnt just C&P the web paje or rehash any uv the many previous articlez and forum posts about it. Starting it off from the perspectiv uv The Founderz seemed like a workable idea. Its at least a valid premise, but I didnt connect the dots very well.

I'm kinda burnt out on it. You can do it much better and quicker than me. You arent afraid uv having a real article published, are you?

Sent this to sum uv the gun control organizationz:

Paradigm Shift

The current debate on gun control laws can be seen as a corral in which the participants are allowed to move freely, as long as they stay within the fence.

The fence in this case has been set up by gun proponents.

Like cowboys controlling the movement of their herd, the NRA, ALEC, all the pro-gun politicians including the entire GOP, and their propaganda 'news' outlets spend their efforts keeping the debate from getting too active.

What I have created is well outside the corral.

The Gun Incident Tax finds and addresses the core of the problem, rather than nibbling at the edges as all the background checks, isolated equipment bans, boycotts, etc., etc., etc. being talked about.

The GIT can be seen as the missing weight on the other side of the balance to the 2nd Amendment; something the founding fathers did not include within the Constitution, simply because there was no need to be seen at the the time.

Nothing in that era of hand made wooden flintlocks could have sparked their imagination brightly enough to envision weapons that could enable a single soldier of the future to wipe out an entire battalion of their time, or mass production making such power available to everybody.

Read the linked page. If you can find a flaw in my reasoning, I would like to hear it. And, even if you can, spread the word. If nothing else, it will at least show 'the herd' that there's something beyond the fence.

Can't quite tell if JO saw thru it or not.

Ya know.... I never thought of this before. But now that you say it J0, I'm 100% convinced that it's the truth. Why didn't I think of that before? Why wouldn't there be a gun control industry?

And if there is a gun control industry, do you think there will actually ever be any meaningful gun control? Why would there be? They'd be putting an end to that cash cow.

8 years of Obama and gun controls got even more lax under the most Leftist Administration the country has ever had.

Hell... I'll take it one step further man. What do you think the odds are that the "organization" that runs the gun control industry is the very same "organization" that runs the NRA?

Maybe they were two different companies at one point, but one bought out the other and now pockets the money generated from both sides of the issue.

No. You're just one of those people that label anyone who doesn't agree with you a Libtard.

Yup. Pretty much. It's not as if we haven't gone through this whole gun debate a dozen times since 2000. Nothing is going to change.

In the mean time, nobody in the MSM is even asking the real questions about what has changed that makes this so prevalent today. There were plenty of guns to be had before Columbine.

I'm not going to say that prescription drugs being handed out like candy is the only reason, but it's a big one.

Currently these psychotropic drugged patsies, the Terrorist Jihadists, and actual Criminals are all mingled together to create the image that this is and should be commonplace.

Who can say J0?

Personally, I don't think you're being blocked. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I think this is more about the fact that nobody really gives a shit. All anybody wants to do on Facebook is post tragic or inspiring stories and say whatever their dipshit opinions about them are.

They're not there to listen. They're not there to learn. They're not there to solve any problems. They're only there to feed their own egos.

Though I don't agree with your idea, at least you're trying to do something about it.

The problem with your page is that it requires people to think. It doesn't tell them what to think. It can't be summed up in a one or two sentence slogan.
