I'd hate to think that after a few weeks of media frenzy, we'll all just assume everything's been taken care of like in a TV show, and we'll all get distracted by something else. But it wouldn't surprise me if that happened.

Out of all the accusations, the one against Takei gives me pause. His response was the only one that was appropriately nuanced. He is the only one who has hit all the right notes of shock and hurt in his response that an innocent person would say. Most just deny it flatly or deflect to the accuser's job or personality.

Not saying he is for sure innocent, but I'm not sure he is guilty. Give it a week and see if there are any more accusers. Most people who do what he's been accused of do it more than once.
