At first this seemed like more witch-hunting from the devoid of merit Democraps.

However, it turns out that the charter or commission he has been given allows him to actually investigate the actual leaks which actually happened.
This would mean he can investigate Seth Rich (the leak) murder by his fellow Democraps, and maybe solve the murder and bring charges or prosecute. If it includes conspiracy to commit murder, then Obama and Hilliary are in deep doo-doo.

Trump is first because he is easiest to convict since Trump has already admitted to crimes, no matter whether he and JewelStaiteFan understand or not, while Obama and Hillary have not admitted anything. Trump personally asked the NSA director and the overall director of national intelligence to publicly weigh in on an ongoing Russia investigation. Not only that, Trump basically asked them to lie, since they weren't privy to what the FBI was doing. In what universe did Trump think that either of them would respond positively to such a blunt request?

What's more, in addition to directly asking Comey to shut down the FBI investigation, he apparently had some of his aides call senior intelligence officers to ask them to intervene with Comey.

What is Trump afraid the investigation will find? Whatever it is, apparently Michael Flynn is afraid of it too. www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2017/05/trump-asked-nsa-and-dni-repudia

Quote:

Trump made separate appeals to the director of national intelligence, Daniel Coats, and to Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency, urging them to publicly deny the existence of any evidence of collusion during the 2016 election.

Coats and Rogers refused to comply with the requests, which they both deemed to be inappropriate, according to two current and two former officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private communications with the president....Trump’s conversation with Rogers was documented contemporaneously in an internal memo written by a senior NSA official, according to the officials. It is unclear if a similar memo was prepared by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to document Trump’s conversation with Coats.

....In addition to the requests to Coats and Rogers, senior White House officials sounded out top intelligence officials about the possibility of intervening directly with Comey to encourage the FBI to drop its probe of Michael Flynn....“Can we ask him to shut down the investigation? Are you able to assist in this matter?” one official said of the line of questioning from the White House.

And this differs from Obama demanding that investigations into Hilliary and her Uranium shipments to Russia, and Benghazi all be shut down, in what way?

Oh and, of course, the whole Russian infiltration of the White House with Donny Baby serving as host, well, that's just a pretense to the REAL investigation.
Obama, obviously, must pay for his High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

More News about Hillary murdering Seth Rich: Fox News announced Tuesday it had retracted a story published last week that reignited conspiracy theories around the unsolved killing of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, whose family demanded an apology from the conservative news network.

Later Tuesday, the conspiracy's most prominent proponent, Fox News' Sean Hannity, announced on his show that he would stop discussing the case "for now." It was a major back-down for a prominent host who had used his Twitter account earlier to vow he would never be silenced by "Liberal Fascism."

What's sad about this G, is the boy doesn't recognize the potential dangers to this country involving Trump and the Russians. Involving our democratic institutions and the trolling they have been subject to. The first thing he did was join with SIG. Someone who has been trolling our institutions while defending all things Russia. Or, that the fact that Trump is not up to the job is dangerous for the world. The fact that he persists is why I call him a moron.

I'm not sure you fully get what the problem is. "Colluding" is not the same as "talking to." If Trump colluded with any of them to help him win the election, would you have problem with that?

So far, I keep hearing about all of the collusion happening in November, December, January. It does not seem a reasonable narrative that they used these meetings to affect the election of 8 November.

Your claim that Trump colluded to force Hilliary to commit her long list of crimes and treason falls a bit flat.

I do believe that Mueller will invoke the Logan Act upon young Mr. Kushner.

Logan Act. The Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 953) is a single federal statute making it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States.

Our "friends" who support Russia and Trump argue that nothing "illegal" has taken place....well, that may very well be tested in this case. Oh, and to reassure our "friends" that this is no fly-by-night law, it was....

Quote:

Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799 (1799-01-30)) is a United States federal law that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments having a dispute with the U.S. It was intended to prevent the undermining of the government's position.

Pretty plain language. Federal law that forbids "unauthorized citizens" from negotiating with foreign governments having a dispute with the U.S.

Some people are upset that, following an election, officials from our government (America, or the President-Elect's representatives) colluded with officials from other nations. Why concentrate on only one of our allies - the one that liberals have been saying for over 70 years has been the greatest utopia on the planet? Why not our other allies - like the ones I specified?

The key word here being "if" someone breaks the law, then you investigate and follow the evidence. Not silly, just fact-based investigation.

Seems simple enough.

There is a reason why the intelligence community has concentrated their efforts on the one country - Russia - but what evidence do you have to the contrary? Do you have it on good authority that other countries have colluded with Trump's administration to "rig" the system for him to win?

Quote:

CNN - The political firestorm around President Donald Trump's top adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner is picking up momentum due to mounting confusion over why Kushner secretly met with the head of a Russian state-owned bank during the presidential transition in December.
The White House and the Russian bank have offered conflicting explanations for the meeting between Kushner and Sergey Gorkov, a Putin appointee, which has only fueled the intrigue around the senior Trump aide who was named as a point of focus in the FBI's criminal probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, according to US officials briefed on the investigation.
Last month, CNN reported that the FBI's investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election was increasingly touching on the multiple roles of Kushner on both the Trump campaign and the Trump transition team.
Points of focus that pertain to Kushner include: the Trump campaign's 2016 data analytics operation; his relationship with former national security adviser Michael Flynn; and Kushner's own contacts with Russians, according to US officials briefed on the probe.
There is no indication Kushner is currently a target of the probe and there are no allegations he committed any wrongdoing.
A source close to Kushner told CNN on May 25 that he had not been contacted by the FBI.
But investigators are interested in learning more about Kushner's interaction with Gorkov, sources told CNN.
A new Washington Post report is raising further questions around the circumstances of the meeting between Kushner and Gorkov.

I attached the above to bring to light why investigative officials have an eye on Kushner.

Additionally:

Quote:

Late December 2016 -- Kushner meets Gorkov: As The New York Times first reported, Kushner meets with the president of state-run Russian bank VEB, Sergey Gorkov, at Kislyak's recommendation. The Washington Post has reported that the meeting was likely on December 13 or 14 based on Gorkov's flight records, but CNN has not independently confirmed that information.

and:

Quote:

January 18, 2017 -- Kushner omits meetings with Russians in paperwork for his top secret security clearance: According to The New York Times, "Kushner did not mention dozens of contacts with foreign leaders or officials including a December meeting with the Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak, and one with the head of a Russian state-owned bank, Vnesheconombank."

The president of that bank is Gorkov (a Putin protégé) who gave conflicting accounts of his meeting with Kushner, was hand-picked by Putin for the bank job and who was recommended by Kislyak.

Has Kushner committed a crime? That's what the investigation is going to find out.
Investigative officials will do their thing and then proceed from there. So technically speaking, Kushner hasn't been formerly charged. But that's why they investigate. The White House says one thing, Gorkov says another and Putin is laughing all the way.

So, no. No proof as of yet.

Quote:

Pretty plain language. Federal law that forbids "unauthorized citizens" from negotiating with foreign governments having a dispute with the U.S.

I can't wait to see how they spin this.

OK, excellent point. Wish you had been more clear to begin with.
I have seen no evidence of it either, other than claims from Maher or Stewart, etc.

Hannity is such a dick, and so obvious about it too. I watch Fox News from time to time just to see what they're slinging now. I could only stomach it for about 15-20 minutes or so. Funny thing, as I watched during the Repub Presidential Debates I saw Megyn Kelly hold her own (I began to see shift slightly in her approach).

Anyway

If the above were true, then why didn't the Republican controlled House ever have Obama investigated? Could you explain that one?

More News about Hillary murdering Seth Rich: Fox News announced Tuesday it had retracted a story published last week that reignited conspiracy theories around the unsolved killing of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, whose family demanded an apology from the conservative news network.

Later Tuesday, the conspiracy's most prominent proponent, Fox News' Sean Hannity, announced on his show that he would stop discussing the case "for now." It was a major back-down for a prominent host who had used his Twitter account earlier to vow he would never be silenced by "Liberal Fascism."

Thanks. Actually, I lifted it from someone's post on another site. Glad you liked it, although after seeing Auraptor's post listing 37 Hillary excuses, it now seems a tad incomplete. Good drawing of Hillary though. I think it captures her essence.
