I'm not really religious at all, but was wondering if there is any truth to Rushdie's writing or the Christian conspiracies or the Hindu Vedic theory on Islam

Authorities identified the suspect as a 39-year-old from Central Asia who worked as a nanny at a house that was set ablaze in the city earlier on 29 February. Rescue services responding to the fire found the decapitated body of a little girl at the premises.

A preliminary investigation concluded the nanny waited for the child's parents to leave before killing the girl and setting the apartment alight. "The child was found without the head. The nurse took the head away," said Yulia Ivanova, an official with Russia's federal police authority, the Investigative Committee, Tass news agency reported.

Video images from outside the metro station showed the woman holding the head in one hand, while waving the other in the air and shouting slogans. She reportedly yelled "Allahu Akbar" and "I am a terrorist" as she walked up and down a sidewalk facing the metro's entrance.

The reports indicated that the suspect killed the child in a nearby apartment, then set the home on fire before walking out into the street.

Some media outlets said investigators had identified the woman as a 38-year-old national of Uzbekistan.

Who can deny the paramount influences of moon in Muslim’s life? In Islam, moon is considered holiest astronomical object, and moon is the guiding light of all Islamic rituals/festivals. Contradictions and conflicts are very common with the dates of Eids and Ramadan and obviously it is a chronic problem and moon is the nucleus of this problem. Crescent moon and stars are the symbolic sign in the national flags of many Muslim countries, and it is present over the Mosques, in the Muslim graveyard etc.
Did the Qur’an at one point tell Muslims to worship al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat? Yes. In Surah 53:19-20.

Have those verses been “abrogated” out of the present Qur’an? Yes.

What were they called? “The Satanic Verses.”

Allah name of deity was pre-existed much before the arrival of Islam, (b) Pre-Islamic Pagan peoples worshipped Allah as their supreme deity (moon-god). Allah’s name existed in pre-Islamic Arab. In ancient Arab the Allah was considered to be the supreme God/deity (as Moon-God) and Arab Pagans worshipped Allah before Islam arrived.
Quran proves that Allah was a pagan god before Islam, whom the Arabians, especially Meccans, venerated, and prayed to, in pre-Islamic days. But Muslims’ belief regarding Allah (god) is totally different. They firmly deny that Allah is or was the god of the pagans, also known as “Moon God”. We will probe this point in light of the Quran as to how Allah, unknowingly, made a mistake and got himself caught in Sura Nahl, verse 57 (Quran 16:57).

When Muhammad was born in Mecca, each Arab tribe in Mecca had their own deity.

There was a large black meteor found in the desert which many Arabs believed was sent to them by astral deities. This rock was placed in the southeast corner of the cube-shaped structure in Mecca.

The arabs knew this rock as the Ka'ba, which means stone.

The black rock's diameter is about 12 inches. It is reddish black in color, and has red and yellow particles.

During this time before Islam this stone was part of the shrine to worship of a chief male god (among over 360 other gods) who was known as Hubal.

The black meteor stone was said to symbolize a nature god known as al-Hajar al-Aswad.

Hubal was an oracular deity whose statue -- in human form and made of red carneol -- stood in the Ka'ba until Muhammad destroyed it.

The Kaba is about 50 feet high, and the walls are about 40 feet long.

The facade contains the door, which starts at 7 feet off the ground, and faces N.E..

To enter the Kaba, a ladder must be used. Also built in the eastern corner, is another stone called "lucky".

This stone is only touched, not kissed.

Pagans called out the names of their pagan gods as they circled the Kaba the same as Muslims do today, calling out Allah's name.

The Qurash (aka: Quraish) tribe which Muhammad belonged to was in charge of idol worship at the Ka'ba Shrine. The chief god of Muhammad's tribe was one of the three sister goddesses called al-Uzza,

the youngest of the three daughters of the pre-Islamic Allah and the patron goddess of Mecca.

Her name means "the mighty one".

The other two were named "al-Lat and "al-Manat".

Salman Rushdie was born into a Muslim family in Mumbai in 1947.

Before Muhammad the arabs had 360 gods - one for each day of the lunar year.

Muhammad picked Allah (Al-Iahi / Nanna-sin), who was the chief pagan Arab god,

the arab moon god, the son of Baal, their war god, and their sword god.

Nanna-sin was also simply called 'sin'.

In Arabic the word for God is 'llah', and the word for 'the' is 'al'.

Combined 'alllah' contracted is 'Allah', which means 'the God'.

in 1988, Salman Rushdie's novel "Satanic Verses" contained the above as the basis for that book.

This book led Ayatollah Khomeni to offer a $3 million bounty on the Muslim Salman Rushdie.

But Salman Rushdie did not lie about Islam's early Satanic beginning!

He merely reported the truth. And truth is something Islam cannot tolerate.

In India’s Hindu religion is quite similar to the number two theory (above) of pagan belief. Although, Hindus worship many different Goddesses—they invariably have faith upon a single supreme invisible deity called “Bhagaban” (some call it “Ischhaar”) whom they call “Nirakar”. And, surprisingly there is no sculptural image/figure for this Bhagaban. But all Hindus worship Him along with other numerous deities. This Bhagaban is considered as the lord of all other deities. What would happen—if some intelligent prophet would have asked Hindus to give up worshipping other goddesses and keeping only Bhagaban as their only deity making it a monotheist religion just like Islam? Could it not be another religion like Islam?

A metro station in Moscow has been shut over reports that a woman dressed in black was holding a child’s severed head. The woman was reportedly shouting, “Allahu Akbar,” Russian media said. According to LifeNews, the victim was a girl, identified as Nastya M. After the murder, the female suspect went to a metro station, where she was stopped by a local police officer. She immediately took the severed child’s head from her bag and started shouting that she had killed the child. The suspect is currently being detained by police authorities, Russian media reported.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

All religions are messed up. They require every person who believes them to be at least a little bit crazy by requiring them to replace knowledge with belief. At some point, when religion takes over a person's life, they become a LOT crazy. Not a "born crazy" like schizophrenia, but a "made crazy".

There are crazy people everywhere in this world, but especially those that profess
that an ancient entity compels one to kill in order to purify and bless one to
paradise.

There are folks in Florida who dance with snakes because, as they believe, it said so in the Bible. And still others that believe God will heal a person solely through the power of prayer and refuse medical intervention by a skilled doctor.

Now I believe that, as it says in the Bible, God breathed life into man and created
the heavens and earth, so too did he put on this Earth all manner of man to heal
the sick. With Islam, as with most religions, you get those that bend the parameters of the teachings and beliefs within the scriptures to their will.
People forget that these writings were, as the disciples claimed, handed down to
them by God thousands of years ago, in a different time and a different era.

They were also translated from the days of early language passed down by word of mouth and then written, usually by monks and the early scholars of the day. The written word was a source of power and those who could read and write held dominion
over the poor, unskilled and uneducated. Now it's just a matter of who is in power and who holds sway over the masses, a rather hysterical way of control. Perpetuate the beliefs, customs and superstitions. Control, that's all it is. Often times it
attracts the wackos and nutjobs that are looking for some acceptance or just maybe love to chop people's heads off and use religion as a scapegoat.
