One of the things that the Constitution requires is that you can be free FROM religion. The government should have no say is specifically promoting or denying any religious belief.

Kim Davis doesn't have a legal leg to stand on. But I have to say that she could only be this stubborn in an enabling atmosphere, because:

Instead of being sent to jail, her bosses should have fired her sorry ass for insubordination and refusing to perform her official duties.

The fact that they didn't says that either the County Commissioners (or whatever form of county government they have there in Kentucky) are either wusses or in sympathy with her.

If there's an internet campaign in this, it should be

FIRE KIM DAVIS

Fire her and promote somebody else for the job, somebody who's willing to follow the Constitution and do their job.
