It's called Amendment 2. It would allow medical marijuana to be dispensed in Florida.

The funny thing is I have not seen one tv ad in support of it. That seems strange to me.

But I've seen lots of tv ads telling voters not to vote for it, and how bad it will be for Florida. They even say the "medical" part is a ruse because a person will NOT need a prescription to get marijuana. How can they say that when there's no legislation written for it yet? I wonder who is paying for these ads, and I'm also curious as to why.

Yeah, that's what that state needs to stay out of the news.

Putting pot on the ballot is a sure fire way to get the pot heads and younger ObamaBots out to the polls.

Not sure what you mean by any of that. Potheads already have no problem buying pot. State and local revenues from tourism are down in recent years. There's no state or city income taxes in Florida, so the additional sales tax revenues from pot sales can only help. I'm going to vote in favor of legalization.

second issue.

Why are you confusing the 2? Or are you intentionally using them as a ruse?
Are you really not confused? It was fairly plain American English that he used to form his clear sentence.

Are you confused? This is a public forum. If you post something confusing, are you saying that nobody is allowed to ask you for clarification?

He made a pretty clear point. Why would you not understand it? Without you clarifying what is confusing to you, it is difficult to know what part of the clearly stated post is evading your comprehension.

Yep, that is what everybody knew would happen under Obamanomics. Welcome to reality.

Close, but no spliff.

The YES vote got 58% to the NO 42%. The Amendment needed 60% YES to pass.

The whole point was to get the ignorant potheads to the polls in a mid-term cycle, to tilt the electorate in the libtard favor.

They needed enough to swing the vote for US House District 9 Incumbent Dem, and squeaked by. They also edged in with Fla House Dist 26.
They made the valiant effort, but failed to save the seats of Fla House Incumbent Dems in Districts 30, 47, 49, and couldn't swing enough to grab the AG seat from incumbent GOP.

So the pothead vote was able to save the libtards 1 seat in Congress, and a libtard seat in State House.

Florida is the nation's perpetual punch line. Putting pot on the ballot, like Floridians NEED more weed to keep them making more and more good choices, seems like a sad joke.

Sure, it's a good idea, but does Florida really need more tax revenue ?

Of course it does. So does EVERY Govt. I just think that , much like Mississippi allowing gambling casinos. It'll help, but they're still Mississippi.

Okay, so ...

We had some cocaine trafficking problems in the 80's, but everybody loved Scarface and Miami Vice didn't they?

We had some drug, rape, and murder problems with some University of Miami and Florida State football players, but winning 5 National Championships kinda makes it all okay, right?

We had a few problems counting the votes in 2000, but that kinda worked out okay, right?

Casey Anthony did the research, callously killed her child, and the jury unanimously acquitted her of murder. And psycho George Zimmerman, who went out and shot a teenager was also acquitted by a jury. So we need some better prosecutors. I'm sure they're on the way.

So make fun of Florida all day long. We're glad we're here to amuse you. But come on down. Visit Disney World, go to the Keys and fish, play golf while it's snowing up north. Just leave your room tax and out of state surcharges at the door.

Now that's just not fair.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

So MEDICAL marijuana fails in Florida, but RECREATIONAL marijuana passes in Oregon and Washington D.C.

Washington D.C.! I'm sure that's gonna work out just great.

Did Bobo outlaw smoking on Federal property, even outside? That would be an inconvenience for the libtard lawmakers.
