New thread function not working right now in RWED, so here are a few thoughts.

Are the pilots known Islamic Extremeists? Flying planes for an airline apparently run by an Islamic Extremist Nation of Malaysia? Sounds like it, although I had not been aware of such before this event.

Should have been known in the first few hours: fuel load, max range. basic stuff, but after 2 weeks still not a straight answer. I've heard reports that contact was lost 2 hours into a scheduled 6 hour flight to Beijing, then also it was 20 minutes into a 2 hour flight. This is not rocket science, why all the obfuscation, like they are following the Clinton scripts for coverups - did they just edit the coverup script from Ron Brown?

Malaysian military claims they watched flight on their radar minutes after transponders were shut off, but did not tell anybody because they were not asked. Really? Just how frequent are these unidentified flights that cover Malay turf without any transponder activity, lots of passengers, and are unreported? If this is a nightly occurrence, what are all these secretive flights for? Chinese intelligence? Islamic Extremist activities? Why is the Islamic Extremist Malay goverment regularly covering up these flights?

As of now, the government is claiming the plane is found, but have not found identifiable parts, or black box, or beacon, and have not even bothered in the past 2 weeks to ship a beacon-locating device to the same quadrant of the world.

Apparently, right now reply button not working on this tread.

Forgot to mention, basis for claiming plane is found is that squares and circles have been seen from space satellite, similar to other squares and circles that they think could be squares and circles from plane debris. Would be alot easier for them to get away with this if only the worldwide population were as gullible and stupid as their Islamic Extremist country - but they probably figured any people that could watch CNN and swallow that garbage could be convinced the sky really is green after all.

Ooopsy. Those squares and circles are no longer interesting. Need to move 700 miles away for more interesting squares and circles. How long will this charade last? Islamic extremist Malay government still claims the plane has crashed, but still without a shred of proof. Lets just end this, have Israel reduce their defensive protocols for unmarked unidentified incoming planes, and then when the 777 finally does crash, Malaysians can come clean about how they tricked all us fools. Which target should they hit in Israel? Maybe take a page from Clancy's Debt of Honor, fly into the Kenneset - is that the correct name?

They should have planned it out a little better. Sprinkling around some used/broken airplane parts in the ocean doesn't seem to be enough to satisfy the Israelis. Searchers can't even find where the Islamists dumped the parts.

Searchers track new 'pings' in hunt for missing Malaysia plane

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-missing-malaysia-plane-20140407
,0,1763802.story

"Australian ship Ocean Shield picked up the signals in an area some
1,680 km (1,040 miles) northwest of Perth, which analysis of sporadic
satellite data has determined as the most likely place Boeing 777
went down.

"I'm much more optimistic than I was a week ago," Angus Houston,
head of the Australian agency coordinating the search ...

"We are now in a very well defined search area, which hopefully will
eventually yield the information that we need to say that MH370 might
have entered the water just here."

Oonj: Are all the reported pings from the same area?

Sure hope that spare black box that the cargo ship threw off the side can trick Israel to let down their guard for incoming unidentified unmarked 777s.

So, what is it now - 3 weeks that there is no proof but the Islamic extremists running Malaysia insist the plane has crashed in some part of the ocean, and did not land in one of their brotherhood countries?

If Malaysian Airlines & Malaysian Gov't wanted to hijack their own plane for
very sneaky terrorist use ... simpler-easier-more secretive to just take an
empty one unscheduled, unannounced.

The notion of stealing a passenger flight with all the ensuing attention is
pretty ridiculous.

Wouldn't it be easier to procure a plane, Ariel style, from the various junk yards , instead of something so high profile as a mysteriously missing 777 ?

I think there may be a few lying around, somewhere.

That is in America, hard to get out of the States, and far too expensive. That Boneyard located in 2 places: Arizona, and also in downtown Washington, D.C. - right out the back door of the Air and Space Museum, just watch Transformers 2 to confirm.
Even if another aerospace industry has enough obsolete airframes to have aq boneyard in another country, still far too expensive and restrictiv e to make one airworthy - far easier to steal one with Islamic extremist pilots from an Islamic extremist government willing to cover for them.

I wonder, will he/she even feel embarrassed if/when they actually bring up an entire airplane, or, let's see...they hijacked the plane. Got everyone off, killed 'em like they'd been in a plane crash (would have to drown a few who survived the crash first, I assume?), built another plane out of junk, stuffed everyone back in, towed it out to sea and sunk it? "Jews" behind it all, of course...or, wait, "Islamist extremists" behind it to trick the "Jews"?...or something (I didn't read all the crap, just skimmed).

You are correct Australia is working hard to search.
However, since early on, the Maylasian government has been insisting the plane was somewhere not at an airport - without any evidence or proof. Repeatedly disproven each time they made a claim of location, made no difference - like the diversion dance spouted by Clinton and Obama spincrafters, on to the next lie.
I was trying to make the point that there is no need to think they are suddenly truthful or competent when they have not been to this point. Sorry I wasn't clear.

However it happened, whether by design or freakish accident, I think the fate of the airliner may have been similar to that which took out the plane carrying Payne Stewart. Loss of cabin pressure, oxygen deprivation of crew and passengers, disorientation, and then death, followed by several hours of auto pilot flight, until the craft ran out of fuel.

Those 4 pings they were SURE they had heard ? Weren't from the plane. Likely, they now say, it was just noise from their own ships.

Gorrammit !

How hard is it to go the manufacturers of the boxes, get them to tell you what the beacon sounds like , and then go freaking find it ?

( Also, as a side bar - Recently there's been a scare by the CDC that the disease MERS ( Middle East Respiratory Syndrome ) might have spread to the states, and then infected others who were in proximity to the original sick person. Turns, out, it isn't MERS. False alarm.

More elusive than a needle in a haystack, it may indeed be down in the ocean
west of Australia where they continue to search.

But what Sir Clark says, "it ain't there," makes sense to me. It just wants a
few more airlines experts to back his view.

A Titanic comparison doesn't compute. The ocean floor had its way with that
wreck for 50 years or so before we got sophisticated search tech.

MH370 was an international passenger flight operated by Malaysia Airlines that disappeared on 8 March 2014 while flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia to its planned destination, Beijing Capital International Airport in China. The crew of the Boeing 777-200ER, registered as 9M-MRO, last communicated with air traffic control (ATC) around 38 minutes after takeoff when the flight was over the South China Sea. The aircraft was lost from ATC's secondary surveillance radar screens minutes later, but was tracked by the Malaysian military's primary radar system for another hour, deviating westward from its planned flight path, crossing the Malay Peninsula and Andaman Sea. It left radar range 200 nautical miles (370 km; 230 mi) northwest of Penang Island in northwestern Peninsular Malaysia.

The communications between Flight 370 and the satellite communication network operated by Inmarsat, which were relayed by the Inmarsat-3 F1 satellite, provide the only significant clues to the location of Flight 370 after disappearing from Malaysian military radar at 02:22 MYT. These communications have also been used to infer possible in-flight events. The investigative team was challenged with reconstructing the flight path of Flight 370 from a limited set of transmissions with no explicit information about the aircraft's location, heading, or speed

In March 2022, Ocean Infinity committed to resuming its search in 2023 or 2024, pending approval by the Malaysian government. In 2023, Ocean Infinity was reviewing data from their previous 2018 search to ensure nothing was missed. CEO Oliver Plunkett hoped to resume the search in the summer of 2023 using Ocean Infinity's new "Armada" vessel. The transportation minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, requested credible new evidence from Ocean Infinity in order to resume the search, which Plunkett is allegedly in possession of. Claims of yet-to-be-identified new evidence has incited victims to further push for another search.
