The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn't like the Obama's? Specifically I was asked: "I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama's? It seems personal, not policy related. You even dissed (disrespect) their Christmas family picture."

The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation. I've made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don't like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.

I don't hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America. They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same, Michelle Obama's raw contempt for white America is transpicuous.
I don't like them because they comport themselves as emperor and empress.

I expect, no I demand respect, for the Office of President and a love of our country and her citizenry from the leader entrusted with the governance of same. President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people.

The Reagan's made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish. Obama's arrogance by appointing 32 leftist czars and constantly bypassing congress is impeachable. Eric Holder is probably the MOST incompetent and arrogant DOJ head to ever hold the job. Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs?

Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama's have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry, and they display an animus for civility.

I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to not being able to be proud of America. I view that statement and that mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world.

Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure her right to do same.
I have a saying, that "the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide." No president in history has spent millions of dollars to keep his records and his past sealed.

And what the two of them have shared has been proved to be lies. He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother's death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 bank stocks they inherited from his family. He has lied about his father's military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nausea. He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address. He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman. He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today.

He opposed rulings that protected women and children that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support. He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to Israel. His wife treats being the First Lady as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world). I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement - as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare.

I don't like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies. We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority.

Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin; it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their constantly playing the race card.

It is my intention to do all within my ability to ensure their reign is one term. I could go on, but let me conclude with this. I condemn in the strongest possible terms the media for refusing to investigate them, as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are. There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people, as these two are permitted out of fear for their color.

As I wrote in a syndicated column titled, "Nero In The White House" - "Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader. He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed. Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is unequalled. Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood...

Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation, and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders. He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement - while America's people go homeless, hungry and unemployed."

And all this is par for the course for any president of the United States.

I hate Obama (and Bush and Bush Sr and Clinton) because he kills innocent people. Do we need another reason?

Most of what a politician does IS speak. And judging by Obama's actions, it's an pretty big fucking difference.

ObamaCare
Giving unions preferential treatment in the auto take over of GM
Violating 1st and 2nd Amendment rights... the list goes on and on.

Although I agree with the author, and probably could add on a lot more, I think it's a big waste of time. The hard political facts and realities demand much more than anti-Obama rhetoric. Unfortunately, Republicans don't have the leadership or the collective will to do the things they should be doing. Obama's been playing big league hardball for years while Republicans are stuck on playing fungo on the school sandlot.

Part of the problem is that the GOP don't want to face the fact, or are too stupid to realize, that Obama isn't merely " the opposition", in the standard political sense.

He's a born and bred, hard core radical, and his world view goes well beyond typical campaign style rhetoric. He's not just giving lip service , as a means to distance himself from the other choices on the ballot, but he really does mean what he says when he wants to redistribute the wealth.

Quite frankly, the old guard country club GOPers are too afraid of rocking the boat, being accused of 'racism', which is exactly what Obama's supports do anyways, long before any of the GOP has even thought of daring to respond.

Save for a very few, mostly TEA party conservatives, the GOP is full of self absorbed cowards, whose only goal is to stay in office, happy to be there in D.C., not really giving a damn what happens to the country.

That's a good overview of the situation. What do you think of Dr. Ben Carson? Also, how does Reince Priebus get to stay on, so he can do it all over again?

eta...it wasn't like Republicans were lacking for campaign money during the last four years, so why aren't the big donors more involved in the process? Don't they care about how their money is used? They just let the idiot politicians and the Karl Rovian dodo bird strategists and the ad media hacks squander their millions? If it was my money, I'd be wanting to go all Marcellus Wallace on them...yanno, with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

What I've heard from Dr Ben, I like. His speech w/ O in attendance was spot on, of course. His delivery is really what sets him a part from others though. Cool, smooth and right to the point.

I think more and more as we sink into the mire that ObamaCare left us, business owners were get more and more furious that the GOP didn't fight harder, do more w/ their donation $, and address the real issues.

Aw for fuck's sake. It's so goddamn ironic that y'all bitch and moan about how Obama wants to destroy this country when Bush/Cheney did more to destroy this country (our economy, our stature in the world, our ability to compete technologically) than we'll be able to recover from in 50 years, if we ever do. When they write the history of this country's demise, Obama will be but a footnote and Cheney and Rumsfeld will get whole chapters a piece on How They Did It.

And a fucking communist? I guess I should be charmed at the naïveté that our corporate masters and Big Pharma would allow such free elections in this country that we could elect a communist, when the actual Communists can't even get on a municipal ballot.

Damn it, you guys, stop being so ignorant. In the past it's been frustrating or upsetting to visit the RWED but these days it's just goddamn embarrassing.

Yes, they do. Mainly, those who FLED a communist state, to come to America, and seek freedom.

The changes Obama is implementing, are exactly the sort of things they left their old country for to come to the USA.

Restricting freedom, telling religious organizations they MUST pay for services which go against their beliefs, installing oh.... I don't know, those who are open to concept of state run Communism ?

So in what way is he restricting freedoms? Sorry, you'll have to do better than that in order to properly answer a question. Try it in your own words as well - it actually helps you to conceptualise your responses better, rather than just linking to someone else's opinion.

So has Obama implemented or planning to implement policies that collectivize all industry and land holdings?

Has he banned ownership of private property and businesses?

Has he taken steps to remove federal/and or state elections?

Has he made himself supreme head of the military - oh wait that's already in the US constitution, my bad :)

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Debunking Almost Every Republican Lie Against President Obama

March 24, 2013 By Allen Clifton

Quote:

I’ve read thousands upon thousands of comments by Republicans in the 14 months since I founded my page Right Off A Cliff. Usually what they say doesn’t bother me, because often it’s just ridiculous. The thing that does drive me nuts is that about 95% of what they say is completely inaccurate.
Let me shred some of their Fox News fed rhetoric:

Obama has been the biggest spending President in history! FALSE. Year to year spending increases have been less than 1%. They’re also at their lowest rate of year to year increases since Eisenhower.

Obama has spent more than all other Presidents in history! FALSE. On January 20, 2009 our national debt was $10.6 trillion, today it’s $16.7 trillion—for a $6.1 trillion increase. For the mathematically challenged, $6.1 trillion is less than $10.6 trillion. This also doesn’t factor in the money spent in 2009, which gets tagged to President Obama, was actually passed by Bush.
*This also doesn’t take into account much of the cost of both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars had not been put on our books by the Bush administration.

Obama is a Muslim! FALSE. You’re an idiot and I’m not even going to explain why.

Obama isn’t an American! FALSE. See above.

Obama is a Communist/Socialist/Fascist! FALSE. They’re all different—it’s impossible to be all 3. Then with stocks setting new records, having their best 10 day stretch since 1996, and increasing by more than 100% since their lows in 2009…he would be the worst Communist, Socialist or Fascist that has ever existed.

Obama is always on vacation! FALSE. President Obama took 131 vacation days in his first 4 years in office. That puts him on pace for 262 days during 8 years in the White House. By contrast Bush took 1,020 days (including a 5-week vacation–the longest by any President in nearly 4 decades), and Reagan took 484 days. Once again for the mathematically challenged, Obama is on pace to take fewer vacations than both Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.

The economy has gotten worse under Obama! FALSE. Are you insane, have selective memory or both? In February 2009, we lost 651K jobs. In February 2013, we added 236K jobs. Again, for the mathematically challenged, that’s a positive shift of 887K jobs from our losses in February 2009 to our gains in February 2013.

I’ve seen the rebuttal to these numbers, so I’ll squash it right now before moving on:

Those jobs numbers are a lie! No, they’re from the same source which Republicans have used to saddle Obama’s job losses (from his first year in office… and only his first year). So you can’t use a source to support your argument, then ignore that very same source when it no longer supports what you want to believe.

Unemployment is at record highs! FALSE. Unemployment hit a high during November 2009 of 10%, it’s now at 7.7%.
I can already hear the Republican rebuttal to this one as well, “But that doesn’t include the people who have stopped looking for work!” I hate to burst your bubble, but the unemployment rate never includes those who have given up looking for work. This isn’t a shift in what defines our unemployment rate, this is how it has been calculated for quite some time.

Fun history lesson: When Reagan took office, unemployment was at 7.5%. Within his first 18 months in office unemployment shot all the way up to 10.8%.

Obamacare is unconstitutional! FALSE. The Affordable Care Act was passed by Congress, signed by the President and the Supreme Court ruled that it was in fact Constitutional.

Obama has been terrible for business! FALSE. Corporate profits are up 171% since President Obama took office and are at their highest levels, relative to the size of economic growth, since 1947.

Obama has waged a war on the rich! FALSE. We’ve added over 300,000 new millionaires, for a total of 8.9 million, approaching the all-time high of 9.2 million.

Obama is out to take away our Second Amendment rights! FALSE. Well, not anymore than Ronald Reagan or George W. Bush wanted to. He wants to put back in place the assault weapons ban that was supported by Reagan and Bush that expired in 2004. He also wants to limit magazine size to 10 rounds and require universal background checks for all gun purchases–something that is overwhelmingly supported by most Americans, regardless of political affiliation.

I’ll stop there. I could have continued, but I’d risk going into fringe stories such as microchips and FEMA concentration camps that really don’t deserve anyone’s attention.

The point is, these statements comprise the vast majority of comments I read from Republicans, and they’re completely inaccurate.

This is why political debate goes absolutely nowhere these days. It’s hard to have rational discussion with people who are starting their argument based on complete lies. Not only do they base their argument on these lies, they want these lies to be true. Even when you present them with indisputable factual data that contradicts their beliefs, it makes absolutely no difference.

And therein lies the problem. They’re suffering from cognitive dissonance. Simply put, it’s where the brain creates it’s own reality when faced with two conflicting beliefs. You see this often in abusive relationships. One partner is abused, but wants to believe their partner loves them–because that’s what they’re told. They then equate abuse to love and convince themselves that it’s okay, because they want to believe that the person abusing them actually does love them. Their brain can’t comprehend the conflicting realities, so they create some alternate form of reality which justifies these conflicts.

That’s where we’re at with Republicans. They want to believe the lies they’ve been fed, even though reality doesn’t support them. With this conflict they’ve created an alternate reality where facts don’t matter, science doesn’t matter, reality doesn’t matter, history doesn’t matter and math doesn’t matter…
And that’s very dangerous.

Do those arguments sound like anyone here?

No, they're still too well articulated and over 5 words.

America loves a winner!

It seems that the only way Libs can defend this piece of shit President is to double down on the lies, and then keep piling lie upon lie after lie, so that there are simply too many lies to debunk.

Obama IS spending more than any other President, and especially in an economic low period.

Obama DOES take more vacations than Bush, and it's not even close. Spending time away from the White House to go to Crawford TX is no where NEAR on par w/ flying to and from Hawaii, 4 times over Christmas, ( making 2 trips for absolutely no legitimate reason, other than a photo op )

2012 Christmas Vacation -

The publication also reports that federal and local taxpayers are likely to foot the bill for the following additional estimated expenses:

The president’s staff typically stay at one of Hawaii’s oldest and most elegant hotels, the Moana Surfrider. A conservative estimate with rooms at $270 (excluding a 9.25 percent Transient Accommodation Tax and a 4.712 percent General Excise Tax on each bill, meals, Internet charges and other charges) adds up to more than $129,600 in hotel bills for some two dozen staff.

A USAF C-17 cargo aircraft that transports presidential limos, helicopters and other support equipment to Hawaii is estimated to cost $258,000, not including crew accommodations.

Secret Service, Coast Guard and Navy Seals are housed in beachfront or canal front properties near the president at a cost last year of about $200 per bedroom per day, or $21,600 per average home for at least seven homes.
The president’s advance security costs about $176,400.

Local police historically rack up $250,000 in overtime during presidential visits, which is paid by Oahu taxpayers.

A city ambulance generally costs about $10,000 to provide round the clock coverage.
The presidential security detail typically rents an entire floor of an office building in Kailua, but estimates were not available for this expense.

In addition, taxpayers pay for security upgrades and additional phone lines to private homes, including bullet proof glass and new security systems.

Tack on another 3 million for that photo op stunt by Obama...

KAILUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
According to a White House reporter, President Barack Obama's vacation on Oahu will cost taxpayers at least $7 million.

Keith Koffler found that President Obama's extra round trip to Washington to deal with the fiscal cliff added another $3 million to the total.

The original price of the vacation was estimated at $4 million.
