Storybook - Nothing what you say is remotely true. It's hilarious and sad at the blind stubborn ignorance you've chosen to display, simply because your lord and master, Barack Hussein Obama, has been dared to be criticized.

Jeanine Pirro is a woman of significant personal accomplishments during her life. She rarely, if ever, gets involved in politics, usually covering crimes and kidnappings, etc. For the last couple of weeks she has been very outspoken and very outraged over this whole thing, especially how Obama and the press have handled it. I applaud her for her efforts.

Pat Caddell is a respected former pollster for Democrat candidates, and currently an insightful news analyst. In the speech below he really lays it all out, labeling the media as an enemy of the American people. Going back to Jefferson and the Founders he makes a rock solid case:

But some guy on Fox is mad at Obama. Oooooh, THAT'S a change of pace!

Pat Caddell, former Democratic pollster and consultant, part of the Carter White House. Had a massive falling out with the Democrats and has been on a Anti-Democratic rampage ever since. Is now a conservative in everything but name.

His only significance is that Fox gets to have him on and pretend they are talking to a liberal.

He's on Fox News... So what? There are more Democrats appearing on Fox News than Republicans most of the time. Democrats like Debbie Wasserman -Schultz, Anthony Weiner, Ed Rendell, Alan Colmes, Joe Trippi, Kirsten Powers, Bob Beckel and dozens more. Most Democrat politicians appear on Fox News to make their case to it's large independent share of audience. There are vigorous debates every day about everything. That's what freedom of the press is all about. But hey, stick your head in the sand and refuse to try to be an informed person. When you pull it out of the sand one day you might find out you've missed out on large chunks of truth, including maybe why Obama is no longer President. You can start with the Caddell speech if you have any desire to be anything other than an ideological fool. Give it a try if you have any guts or integrity. C'mon, it won't hurt.

And there it is. Just because it's on FOX, that alone, is enough for you to dismiss it and twist any damn thing you want.

The MSM is actively ignoring this story. Why ? We all know why. On all the Sunday AM talk shows, when ever the issue was brought up, each host skirted dealing with it, and or said they'd get back to that topic, but never did.

"conveniently " ran out of time, I suppose.

Thankfully, at least Newt was able to get his 2 cents worth in.

"Pirro was the Republican nominee for New York State Attorney General in 2006, losing to Democrat Andrew Cuomo (a fellow Albany Law alumnus). She also held the nominations of the New York Conservative and Independence Parties."

"In 1988, Caddell left the Democratic Party after an acrimonious lawsuit with a Democratic consulting firm, Caddell, Doak and Shrum. Republicans would often cite Caddell's tirades against the Democratic Party when they spoke on the floor of the House and the Senate."

Both of these are from WIKI. I would give these people more credit if they didn't have obvious anti-Democratic axes to grind.

That does not make them impartial, unless I can use the same arguments for MSNBC.

Just because Fox news will run with stories from anonymous sources does not mean there is really a story. That is why any type of real new sources are not reporting anything new. They have integrity.

Watergate was broken on an " anonymous " source. But there is FAR more this story than FOX's alleged anonymous sources. There are the conflicting stories from the WH, the released e-mails, and oh yeah...4 dead Americans.

...and reported by The Washington Post, The New York Times and Time magazine. Again, integrity.

Oh, and the only conflicting stories seem to be coming from the right...so did the president just go to bed or did he watch people die, I'm still confused about this.

I'm also confused on how it helps the President politically to let those people die?

And poor analogy between Caddell ( Democrat ) to Maddow ( extreme Liberal ). Pat is a life long Democrat, who has no show of his own. Maddow thrives on vilifying the GOP, because that's how she earns her living, on a network which is wholly dedicated to spinning the news.

My post is very material. Kwickiie tried to compare Caddell to Maddow. There is no comparison. Maddow was never a conservative, Maddow has her own t.v. show, on an outwardly Left wing " news " network, where as Caddell use to work for Democrats, has no show and is simply responding to the story at hand, the abandoning of Americans coming under fire, and choosing to do nothing to help them.

Please, try to keep up. I don't have the time or interest to continually go over old material for you.

So will you continue to cling to the notion it's material in topic even though it's factually wrong and therefore irrelevant? Wasn't your attempted point that BECAUSE he's a democrat he therefore has no vested interest in criticizing a democrat? But in fact he left the party 24 years ago and has been on a campaign to criticize them ever since. So doesn't that render your attempted point invalid?

I hate to be so pedantic about it, but you can't seem to follow the logic trail without breadcrumbs guiding you along.

A "life long Democrat" who left the party in 1988? Perhaps you do not know the meaning of "life long".

Is Caddell paid for his appearances on Fox? If so, doesn't he earn his living "on a network which is wholly dedicated to spinning the news"?

Maybe little rapey thinks Caddell is now the undead! See, as long as he was alive he was a democrat, but NOW he makes his appearance as an un-dead ex-democrat.

I asked if he is paid for his appearances on Fox. If he makes his living doing such appearances, then yes, by definition he's doing it for financial reasons. But you'll have to cite for me where I said his "WHOLE reason for making such claims is purely financial," because I'm fair certain I made no such statement.

As far as any "cover up", I believe that YOU believe that there's a cover-up, but your belief rarely has anything to do with objective reality. You live in your own little subjective world that is often far different from the real world.

And how is that remotely related to the story of Tyrone Woods ? Please, elaborate. Did you even bother to watch the video ? Pat appeared to be genuinely upset, and not merely " playing politics " . In fact, he made it a point to NOT make it about politics.

Yet you are.

This IS a legitimate issue, whether you want to accept it or not. And calling for answers to this matter , regardless of when it took place ( election year or not ) comes w/ the job of being President. If you want to claim " it's all just politics, nothing more! ", then under no circumstances can any President be held accountable for anything he ever does ( or FAILS to do ) in office.

The MSM plastered Cindy Sheehan all over the news papers and t.v., yet are turning a blind eye to the father of Tyrone Woods.

Media bias ? Nawww

You've shown no evidence of any kind of cover-up, and believe it or not, we don't all just take your word for it when you say things like "There is unquestionably a cover up going on here."

I want to see your proof, what you have that makes it "unquestionable" in your mind. So far all you've provided are opinion pieces.

Jongstraw

"Jeanine Pirro is a woman of significant personal accomplishments during her life. She rarely, if ever, gets involved in politics ..." Except when she's running for office and involved in party politics?

Pat Caddell is a respected former pollster for Democrat candidates, and currently an insightful news analyst. In the speech below he really lays it all out, labeling the media as an enemy of the American people. Going back to Jefferson and the Founders he makes a rock solid case ..."

"You can start with the Caddell speech if you have any desire to be anything other than an ideological fool. Give it a try if you have any guts or integrity. C'mon, it won't hurt."

You're a reasonably smart person. But I watched and what I saw was an incoherent man who was ill-prepared to speak, might have been drunk, and didn't make any solid points that I could notice.

I'll give you specific examples -

He says that by design the FF kept the press as the only institution not subject to checks and balances. But checks and balances were created for the GOVERNMENT structure, to keep one part of GOVERNMENT from becoming too strong and dominating the other two. Last I looked, the press isn't part of the government, is unelected, and has no authority to pass and enforce laws. Applying the phrase 'checks and balances' regarding the press and the FFs' relation to it is nonsensical.

He dissembles around the notion that Valerie Jarrett (top aide to Obama) has a secret Service detail. But there is only one report that she does (from the NYTimes) while (from FOX) one report that they saw no evidence of one. "When my friend, Fox News anchor Bret Baier, got up to welcome her I noticed there was no evidence of the Secret Service detail that the Times reported she insists on ..." Without ever establishing whether that detail is a fact or not he then goes on to berate the cost and ... honestly, I can't figure out what other point he's trying to make.

Another example is when he claims that 'we've had nine days of lies b/c they can't say it (Benghazi) was a terrorist attack." Now that is just outright echoing of a FOX falsehood.

He plays fast and loose with the facts, tells some outright lies, makes many, many completely unsupported assertions - I'd say it was nearly his entire speech - along with a lot of name-dropping apparently to impress people with how 'in the know' he is - and seems unable to formulate a thought.

So, what did you see in this that was so special to you that you came out to promote this video - twice.

I've watched. Twice all the way through and many parts many times. I took the time to track down every story and every name he mentioned, no matter how peripheral. And I found no there there. Perhaps you can tell me what was so great about it.

I should have added the words "on her weekly tv show" to the end of that second sentence. Also, she hasn't been involved in party politics since 2006. And prior to that she did have some notable accomplishments such as:
...Her legal career spans over 35 years.
...In 1975, she became an assistant district attorney for Westchester County, New York and was the first female to prosecute murder cases there.
...In 1978, Pirro started the first domestic violence unit in a prosecutors office, in the nation.
...In 1990, Pirro was elected as the first woman to serve as a Westchester County Court judge.
...In 1997, she was appointed by then-Governor George Pataki to chair the New York State Commission on Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board, whose research helped pass increased protection for domestic violence victims.
...In 2006, the Republican Party chose her as its candidate for New York state attorney general.

Seems to me that she dedicated her life to the law, not being a politician. Also seems like she championed important causes for all women. I suppose you can make a case that her career was helped at times by the Republican Party to get elected to be a judge, but there doesn't seem to be any political agenda from her besides executing justice from the bench. Her record on women's rights should be applauded by all women, regardless of party affiliation. And I believe her outrage over Benghazi is not based on politics, but based on her being a clear-thinking, intelligent American citizen.

As opposed to all the really smart people here? Hey, it's ok. Besides, I've never said or implied in my years at RWED that I was smart in any way. In fact I've usually described myself as being a dummy, a knuckle-dragger, an un-sophisticated neanderthal. What I have appreciated is the occasional nod from some on your side who've given me some credit for being a person who is critical of people and situations from my own political side, including many social issues where I rail against the established dogma.

First, thank you. I'm sorry that you put in all that time with this to find nothing that meant anything to you. I will say that in between the .... and ....of your post you made some good points. Although there were things I liked about the speech, I now believe it could be viewed differently through different lenses, and that I was too hasty and judgemental to crow about it as I did.

A sincere THANK YOU for your reply.

"I should have added the words "on her weekly tv show" to the end of that second sentence." NOW I understand what you meant! Also yes, it appears that she has dedicated her life to pursuing actual justice, and made many remarkable advances. I am terrible with names but you did such a good job presenting her life's work I know I'll remember it and notice it.

"As opposed to all the really smart people here?" As opposed to the really smart people I work with, who - believe me - are miles out of my league. By reasonably smart I mean someone I feel I can 'talk' with. I will consider and think about what you say, and I hope you consider and think about what I say.

"Although there were things I liked about the speech ..."

And there were things I agreed with, though I thought he was misdirected. The press as the handmaiden to corporate interests and its consequent refusal to deliver ALL the vital news has been an issue for decades. Also, when I think of the fawning propaganda of Judith Miller and others regarding WMDs and Iraq I think that the press has been a flack for politicians since before Obama. I also don't think that FOX is the antidote. So there are parts give a 'yes, but ...' to.

But I'm still curious what you liked about the speech. If you don't want this to become a public discussion you can always PM.

/

"Obama’s crime is said to be so heinous that mere impeachment for refusing to intervene would be insufficient. If you Google the words “Benghazi” and “traitor,” you get some 518,000 hits, almost all of which cast President Obama as that traitor. The criticism extends as well to the mainstream media, which as my email informs me, is being accused of covering up a scandal of such dimensions that it would supposedly dwarf Watergate.

But I have a question.

According to NBC News, Mitt Romney hasn’t mentioned Libya in his campaign appearances around the country since Oct. 12, which is more than two weeks ago. Now why do you think that is?

Option one: Mitt has joined the mainstream media as part of the pro-Obama conspiracy of silence to protect the president.

Option two. Romney’s military and foreign affairs advisers have told him that not even a minimally responsible case can be made that Obama should have intervened militarily at Benghazi, and that Romney would deeply embarrass himself by suggesting such a step.

Let’s be clear: There is no indication — none — that U.S military officials advised the president or anyone in the administration that a rescue operation was possible, and that the administration ignored that offer. The evidence is entirely to the contrary."

"“U.S. officials say (the team) did not arrive in Sicily until after the attack was over,” CBS reports. “Even if the team had been ready in time, confusion about what was happening on the ground in Benghazi — and State Department concerns about violating Libyan sovereignty — made a military rescue mission impractical, the officials say.”

Arguing against mass and willful hysteria using facts, logic and expert professional opinion is a losing battle, of course. It doesn’t matter that our top military people believed a rescue effort would be impractical and would probably end in the loss of even more American lives. What matters is that talk-show hosts and others can stir up millions of Americans raised on Rambo movies to believe that their leaders could have helped to rescue a well-respected U.S. diplomat and his team, but simply decided it wasn’t worth the effort. Because the president is a traitor."
