Hello,

According to this article, there is a tick out there that can bite you and cause you to become allergic to meat.

This is terrible. Something must be found to combat this plague immediately.

To think that I am only one bite away from never enjoying a steak again is alarming.

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

I thought you lived in Arizona? If so, you should be fine, according to the CDC:

Hello,

I like to visit other places now and again. Like my family in Florida.

Then I guess you'll have to ask yourself which you like more: visiting family, or eating meat? Tough choice, I know.

If you really must risk it, these tips should help:

Watch out for chigger-bugs while you're down there too, major itchiness.

I have no advice for you. I'm super attractive to ticks (mosquitoes, deer-fly, horsefly, no-see-ums, gnats - any thing that bites, sucks, chews or stings) and I've been trying to figure out for decades how to go out hiking and come back uneaten. Sadly, I haven't got the answer.

AMEN to that...
Really taken to wearing more(lightweight) clothes in summer, and since I burn so easily it actually does keep me cooler. Don't know how in the hell women wear burkha's in heat though...I'd feel like suffocating constantly.

Actually, I heard that Moby was the mastermind behind this Veganite feat of genetic engineering....

I say, bring it on. I'll still eat the meat.

I've become lactose intolerant in my old age, but I still drink milk and each cheese. What's a little IBM?
