I really like that they're doing journal publishable work on old fixed up throwaways and equipment they designed and built themselves for less than $500.

It's a throwback to the old independent style of science. Now all we have to do is get them together with the steam punk crowd...

Nifty, I'll take a look. I can see the big barrier here is going to be informational. This could evolve into the ultimate programming language.
