Nice, was that Pirates of Penzance? Check out this Dick Cheese version

The last one has some goofy kid lip syncing, it's pretty funny.

I don't know the performance on the screen but I'm going to guess yes, and that it's specifically I am the very model of a modern major general.

Around the 2 min mark they briefly quote 'Jungle Boogie' In case it's not obvious, I like musical satire.

I don't know why, but it almost works, sometimes Rhapsody of Fire hits the spot, in a very 80s hair band trying to being Symph way.. It's an antidote for all the Serenia type stuff that can fill my mp3 list at times

Speaking of which

I worry about the message of the some of these songs, so

Imagine that I posted Nightwish's Eva here

as an antidote to that. But sometimes you just need a little balance. Emotionally.

Musically, SNZ

Big fan of them, I have to say. Have you heard any of Luca Turilli's Dreamquest?

This bug of disappearing ghost posts is getting annoying

Phoenix Rose

No, new one on me. I haven't had an mp3 player up in a year and change, and I haven't had really anything that plays videos, except for this here mac, which has an inexplicably short battery life, and the ipad, which is annoying on video, because it sends you to the app.

Anyway, awesome. You are not losing your crown of awesome.

CTS,

I was going to post something African but I couldn't find it. There wouldn't be a point to posting something everyone already knows, I suppose. I used to listen to this stuff, but it was back on cassette tape... it's somewhere.

You should get a position in the cabinet of aweomse, I'm afraid Happy is already VP, or grand vizir, or whatever. Speaking of, what happened to Byte and Frem?

I'm looking for something to post, as I go through my mp3 shuffle. It has to be something better than the Lap Dance is So Much Better When the Stripper is Crying.

Changes? I think everyone already has that.
Epica: living a lie. I already posted some Epica.
It's like the Nightwish injunction, if it weren't there, there would be some of us who would never post anything else. I missed Epica when they were here Argh. Like missing the Nightwish meet and greet, or missing Nightwish with Tarja years ago in Prague. You know how it is? I was with my very dear friend, who would not do any non-classical concert, that included Riverdance. I think Nightwish would have killed him

Sheena is a Punk Rocker. What? No one has does a compilation fan video of the show to this tune? Everyone knew it was *that* Sheena, right? There's an illustration on the album jacket to make that point (I had to look up why, back then, it was a TV show in the 50s or something) Some of y'all already knew that.

Angie.. I don't know why, I like this song. I'm not a big stones fan except for a few songs. Ruby Tuesday also.

One Headlight, everyone has this.

say it isn't so, I grow weary of wheezer at times. I have to be in the mood

Spellbound. Lacuna Coil. A good song, but not what I want to point

Forever Slave

Hey, I like music, like I like my movies, just a little bit on the creepy side

In danger of going to heavy symph overload

Nightwish: Moondance. I'm really fond of this one, also Kiteen Pallo.

[do I admit to having Britney Spears on shuffle?] I would if it were a decent song, but as it was, I hit skip, so it doesn't count.

Aimie Mann

I figured you guys had the first half dozen more obvious songs. I like this one, I don't know why. I am not admitting to my Aimie Mann obsession. I was so pleased when she appeared at the Bronze.

I'm not sure if this breaks an injunction, but it's just an awesome song.

Little Earthquakes. I can't find the right video. I find a lot of live versions that are very long. I used to sing this when I was insane, it kept me sand, until they took my voice away with induced seizures. They actually do that sort of thing. And Yes, I actually used to have the range for this song.

Anyway, I think something upbeat is needed here

This one takes me back to when I was 3 or 4, living in Taiwan, summers around the pool at the NCO club, hearing this on someone's tinny transistor radio.
