According to that horseshit book of fables (the bible), it's also just as much an abomination to wear clothes of two different fabrics (cotton and hemp, for example, or a poly/cotton blend, which really IS an abomination to pretty much everyone!), to have tattoos, to have cosmetic surgery, to touch a football, to work on the sabbath... hell, you name it, it's an abomination.

Well, if you remember the case of Abu Hamza, who was preaching jihadism in Hyde park, he was arrested and deported.So I think we've got it somewhere near right.You can have too much freedom of speech you know.You can say what you like but you must take the consequences for it. If an organised "peaceful" religion still cannot accept that homosexuality is a natural physical state and should be accepted as such, then it go fuck itself. I am a free speech absolutist, because its easier than fumbling with nuance. I know that some spoken things are not protected speech, but rather incitement or a criminal offense. Yet in most instances the remedy for speech is more speech. I would rather the manic street preacher be shouted down, or confronted with gay protesters making out, than be arrested.

Actually, DT, the *plan* is to expose them for what they are, by goading THEM into denouncing free speech for OTHERS when THEY find such speech offensive. Pull off the mask and show them for exactly who and what they are.

You may have missed it, but I did exactly that to PN not two weeks ago in one of the immigration threads. He, that stalwart opponent of tyrannical government, finally came out and showed us all how he REALLY feels, by proposing that we start shooting everybody who tries to cross the border, and suggesting that we should hold immigration protest and round up and deport everyone who attends.
