We all know a right-winger would not have gotten away with this. I'm sure Rush or Sean or Glenn or Laura or Mark etc, had said somthing like this about a Democrat they'd be fired. AND YOU LIBS KNOW IT!! Let us right-wingers have Letterman's scalp, there isn't much hair on it anyway. We want our pound of flesh, besides will you really miss that gap toothed old perv?

I dunno...I am a right wing libertarian type,with very little in th eway of liking or trust for the current Commander in Chief.But guess what?Someone taking cheap,foul shots at his wife and/or kids would get the same response form me that Doofus Dave got...
Ideology aside,I have never been one to go after families-especially kids.And YES,it WAS as equally classless when Chelsea Clinton caught those same kinds of cheap shots no matter how little use I had/have for her parents.
Some things are simply not to be tolerated-and I DO hope that Letterman's ratings take it hard.
He will probably be OK,though-too many viewers are the same types that prefer "American Idol" type "reality TV" to well done shows like ...."FIrefly".
