DEADLOCKVICTIM

I have never had a fear of snakes, in fact when I was a kid I would go out of my way to catch them - not to harm them, but just to touch them.

But this guy - wow

The scientists estimate the snake lived 58 to 60 million years ago and was around 13 metres long. The giant, found in northeastern Colombia, dwarfs modern pythons and anacondas which usually don't exceed 6-6.5 metres and are thought to be the largest living snakes.

It was as long as a Tractor Trailer.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Hell, that'd be cool as hell to see! Touch? Maybe not so much.

I've had a 12-foot Reticulated Python wrapped around me, and it was a bit daunting. I knew it didn't have the power to kill me, but when it started squeezing (sizing me up, I s'pose), it was definitely a gut-check moment, and it ain't easy to get one of those buggers off you if it's not in the mood to be unwrapped!

I find this completely plausible , because I've seen anacondas that were 13 meters long...

Not just one , but a whole pile of them...

Bodies as big around as decent-sized pine trees...

I kid you not .
