Simon, it may come as a shock to you, but when folks, like Presidents Elect, have such people as SPOKESPERSONS who do their speaking for them, all the spokespersons are allowed to say is what has been approved. In this case, that person being Barack Obama would be doing the approving in the first place.

Hard to imagine that a person would get something so fundamentally wrong as Obama DID or Obama DID NOT speak w/ the Governor about his Senate seat, and still be able to keep his job.

Okay, I'm going to call first on this one, I already posted it, but I have to agree with auraptor:

Obama just f%^&ing lied to the american people about the senate thing. The ironic thing is that Obama is in no way implicated in gov. blogholovich's corruption, and he could have said nothing. But to come out and say something that couldn't possibly be true is very troubling. The only possible defense is that Obama is a total moron, which I for one don't believe. I'm disturbed that the president elect would just flat out lie to the american people. He should have dodged the issue entirely, expressed shock, and left it at that.

I can't argue that real health care is absurdly over priced for everyone, whether it's covered or not. But as for Blagojevich, Rezko, there's all manner of things to discover.
