NETUREI KARTA of THE ORTHODOX JEWRY
JERUSALEM, PALESTINE
P.O.Box 5053 Jerusalem
E-mail: nkp@neto.bezeqint.net

Mar. 01/08

We Orthodox Jews cry out to the world to stop the wild beast of the Zionist State from destroying the Palestinian People!

We Orthodox Jews condemn the murderous terrorism and gangsterism of the Zionist murder
machine!

For sixty years the Zionist butchers have been expelling, occupying, ghettoizing, terrorizing and killing Palestinians who simply want their rights restored in their homeland of historic Palestine!

How long will the World Powers stand silent at Zionist terrorism and barbarism? Will the world
wait until millions of Palestinians are finally starved to death to mourn the extinction of the
Palestinian People, G-d forbid?

We also condemn the current onslaught of the Zionist military machine in its wicked and
cannibalistic campaign on the suffering and innocent occupied people of Gaza in violation of all international concepts of law, justice and peace!

We call on all peace-loving nations to take every measure to stop the madness unleashed by the Zionists and to restore the rights of the Palestinians, thereby ending all suffering and bloodshed of all people in historic Palestine!
The Zionist terrorist machine and its regime in occupied Jerusalem do not represent the Jewish
People and religion. They may call themselves Jews, but they are not following the Jewish religion.

They are barbarians and butchers! They defile and desecrate the holiness of our religion, of our Torah!

We pray for the rapid restoration of the rights of the Palestinians throughout historic Palestine, and for the establishment of a free Palestine throughout historic Palestine, and for the Zionist regime to be dismantled and expelled from the entire Holy Land.

We offer our deepest condolences and sympathy to the entire Palestinian People who must
constantly face the effects of Zionist terrorism, and specifically to the families of all those who have been wounded and killed due to the Zionist war machine, may it soon be obliterated.

May we all see the revelation of G-d in the entire world and serve him in truth and peace.

Amen.
INSHALLAH!
Neturei Karta

Interesting...

Not sure what they'll make of it, but I forwarded a copy of that to my english-speaking contacts at RAWA, although I really don't know enough about "Orthodox" Jewish beliefs to know where they stand on respect of women.

Not to sound sexist in a bizarre sort of way, but it's always been my experience that women are more inclined to negotiate, and one stands a better chance of convincing THEM, then letting them bend the ear of their menfolk.

That is by no means meant as a statement of anything, simply an anectodal evidence of experience.

If I can convince a mans wife of something, I generally don't need to convince him.

Makes me wonder who really runs the world sometimes - according to my niece, it's little girls!

I've never understood the Palestinean/Israeli deal myownself. I've nothing particular against the nation of Israel as such - and certainly nothing against the Jewish people - but my impression is that awhile back they said, "Well, it's time we had a state. This chunk of land here looks good - alright you lot, clear off!"

And if you're smellin' a whole lot of he's-done-no-research-on-this-topic-whatsoever comin' off that "analysis"...you'd be right. Wikipedia here I come (it's a starting point, anyway).

Just curious - what manner of things are you trying to convince men's wives of...?

I'm sure that's right. I was gonna guess cats.

It was gross miscarriage of somethin' when we got here!

Well it was kinda the U.N. that decided that the Jews were going to get a country, though if you like you can just assume that the Zionist Conspiracy runs the U.N.

Oh such a leading question, such temptation for snark....

I'll be honest though, just to get it off my chest, cause it's botherin me.

Usually that the things they are supporting are counterproductive to their own interests, within the social circles I deal with, often unwillingly dragged by the missus since imma not-people-liking recluse, my role seems to be something of an Oracle, cause over the years i've been "right" on most things, even some things that no one else even thought could happen, and not just kinda right, dead-bang right, chapter and verse.

And usually sneered off, at the time - and yet here we are, eight years later....

These days, if I told em to buy ammo, every gun shop within a mile would have empty shelves within the day.

It's actually freaky and just a bit frightening, which has made me all the more reclusive since.
In fact I've taken to avoiding those folk since what I told Tig a couple years back...
1999 "Don't sign up, girl, I know it's only driving a truck, but there is a storm brewing in that desert, the likes of which the world has not seen in forty years, and it will suck you in, suck all of us in, if we let it happen, and I fear for you."
She didn't listen, served a couple tours in Iraq, and will probably never be "quite right" again.

Since then, the way they look at me bothers me, like imma say something that blows up how they wanna see things going, how they wish things would go, and they'll be unable to dismiss or ignore it so easily.

So I say nothing at all, and I go away.
There's NO consolation in being "right" when it's about things so horrible.

Well, you could make a case for Cats, sure.

But my niece is firmly convinced of the power of little girls, because she can hit up most adults with that devastating wide-eyed beam of cuteness and mind-hammer (HER word, not mine!) them into doing whatever she wants them to do without too much trouble.

Till she tried it on her erstwhile uncle, and somehow wound up cleaning her room (after multiple refusals) and only halfway through realising she'd just been completely scammed.

She's slick, but I more or less WROTE the family "book" on dirty deeds she's workin from.

Kudos to actually having the decency to research the topic before discussion instead of relying on talking points with no basis in reality like mostly everyone else does.

Although, I warn you, once you've done your research and THEN try to comment intelligently on the situation, you will be flamed right out of the gate, and once you've dug into the issue for several hours, you'll know why, too.

Seering and oracling can be low in customer satisfaction...as Heinlein said (more or less), Cassandra didn't get half the kicking around she deserved. People - myself included - don't tend toward grateful when somebody threatens their wishful thinking...a state of affairs you are clearly familiar with.

It was all rose-colored lenses when we got here!

"Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation?

For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth -- to know the worst and to provide for it."

WashnWear,

I second Frem's kudos. Your absence of presumption is absolutely refreshing on RWED. After you're done with Wikipedia, if you need more, feel free to ask. Esp Frem. He knows everything. (No, I mean it. He does know everything.)

Frem,

I love your Patrick Henry quote. So here's my putting my money where my mouth is.

You've heard me mouth off enough on RWED to know where I stand on quite a few things. Any delusions I need to cast off? Ever hear me embrace any position where you thought, God she needs to do more research on that!

I'm game. I'm ready. Lay it on me. What don't I know?

Thanks to you and Frem both for the encouragement...which will come in handy as I seek to break a life-long habit of intellectual laziness. I've always had a fair amount of luck baffling folks with bullshit when I didn't have the facts (at least long enough to escape the conversation at hand) - I've noticed that's a good way to get your ass masticated around here.

It was like that when we got here!

Yeah, right, lol...

If I knew everything, I would have no reason to exist, when a person decides they "know it all" and decides to stop learning, they die inside.

I do note from recent events that our much-maligned opinion on vaccination and it's downside are becoming less so as the evidence once lacking because Big Pharma did not want folks to know, begins to pile up.

I got a couple helper programs leftover from when I had actual press-level access to various newswires which scan headlines for relative data, seems a lotta folk are starting to question the "conventional" wisdom bought and paid for by folks like Merck, after the recent Gardasil disaster.

And your questions, CTS - are not ones you should be askin me, those you need to ask YOU, really - when have I ever been shy about pointing out flaws in an argument anyhow ?

We learn best about ourselves by experience and interaction with others combined with honest introspection - something a lot of folk tend to bulwark or even replace with religion, all in an effort to obtain and maintain hope, which is very important... VERY few people can operate in it's absence, and tend to do some really wacked out things when their supply thereof runs dry.

That being something which is a big factor in keeping my mouth SHUT when folks of the community mentioned above go askin me things, cause if you remove hope from the equation, even when it may be a vain hope, you change folks behavior, which can lead to all manner of unfortunate and unintended consequences.

Instead I will say to you - if you don't like the potential answers to the questions you ponder, work actively to change them, and since you do that, I don't really have much to offer you.

I stopped believing in "Impossible" in August 1992, when my own doctors told me I was going to die, and I chose to rather virulently disagree.

A lot of Browncoats don't believe in "impossible" either, it's why were here, innit ?

-Frem

PS- You can always ask, Wash, the only 'stupid' question is the one that never gets answered for lack of courage asking it... seeking knowledge is something to never, EVER, be ashamed of.

thats what i believe. real quickly, without understating my case too much, the most important angle i know of comes from the New Testament, as it says that a "Jew" is someone who does the *will* of the Lord; that 'circumcision' was of the heart, and that only what leaves your body is 'unclean'. this is fundamental, because in this context the true nation of Israel is not the current artificially established country, but a scattering of peoples the world over. in fact this is Jesus' underlying message throughout the NT, which is what leads me to believe that Americas pro-Israeli position is a front for something more sinister, being executed by the (NWO)'conspiracy'
