Okay, so this post isn't strictly about roleplaying. It's tangential. But I figured the topic was more appropriate for a roleplaying sort of crowd.

I really wish there were firefly minis. Has anyone attempted to make their own by painting those ones that come unpainted? Soon I'm just going to raid my boyfriend's collection of dnd minis and start messing around with them until they look like BDH's.

I would try foundry miniatures out of the UK. They carry figures from just about any period of time and are pretty well-done. Their western, modern and cyberpunk lines should work especially well.

Yes I have.......use Han Solo from Star Wars minis (Universe expansion).....He is wearing the long coat when he is on Endor and it is perfect.
Use Cable from Heroclix (Mutant Mayhem set)he is a great jayne and even has Vera!
I'm thinking of making another set and putting them on E-bay.

I am pretty sure some of the Starship Trooper armor costumes appreared in the series (alliance?). If you need grunts they are available in a miniature game named for that movie.
