I don't know if its okay to create a new thread on my first day here, but what is River's story? We know she grew up w/ her bro, Simon, untill she was sent to the acadamy. Aparantly, this was voluntary, as stated in Safe "But River had to go..." -Simon. She then sent letters in code to Simon, saying only "They're hurting us. Get me out of here." But what did they do to her? If anyone has any answers, please let me know. And can River ever get back to normal? Like maybe Simon can put her amygdala back in or something?
