Ni hao, fellow Browncoats!

It's my pleasure to announce that SaveSerenity.org, the site dedicated to pushing for a sequel/prequel, is now up and running.

This new site is an upgrade from our former site, SaveFirefly.org. Instead of focusing on a return of the show (something that we all realized would be very unlikely), we're centering on the possibility of another movie with our favorite crew.

A new section of SaveSerenity is the Video section, where Browncoats (and those just finding out about us) can watch every episode of Firefly.

The site is obviously in its beginning stages, so you won't find a whole lot of activity just yet. However, we've started by encouraging visitors to send their birthday wishes (and representation of SaveSerenity.org) to Summer Glau (address supplied on the site) as her birthday was on the 24th.

We are very much in need of everyone's participation if we are to accomplish this goal. Most importantly, we need ideas for getting Universal Studios' attention. In the past we tried sending blue surgical gloves (“two by two, hands of blue”) as well as Blue Sun Wavecards from QuantumMechanix.com. We then intended to do a birthday campaign, but due to lack of funding, the site went under before we could initiate it. Unfortunately, the entire cast has birthdays before August, so we won't be running the birthday campaign until next year.

Anyway, the forums are open, so feel free to drop by. We look forward to working with you!

I would prefer a sequel, Joss killed off those characters for a reason, I would like to see how their lives have changed do it in real time say 5 years since the situations in Serenity since its almost 5 years since the film came out

Also the actors have changed as time and age gets all of us, a prequel would look well ...silly

Just my two cents, sorry if it upset anyone.
