I thought to post we had to add HTML tags, I tried this, but it shows up when I post!

So, I need to know, how do I indicate italics? Because I use the and then end and it doesn't work...

*sigh* Any help for me???

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

I think you can just use BBCode for the basic formatting (bold, underline, italics). For the rest, consult Mal4prez's "Handy fic formatting guide," located here:

Some of the things don't work anymore, maybe because of hacks FFF.NET has had in the past, but most of it is still good.

Edit: Actually, now that I think about it (silly me, I've got italics in my signature!) I think the problem is that you're using uppercase letters, instead of lowercase. The HTML for my sig is exactly the same, except "i" instead of "I."

Maybe it just happens when I post something (doubt it), but I usually get a handy little reference on the left-hand side. It looks a little something like this:

quote [quote ]...[/quote ]
spoiler [spoiler ]...[/spoiler ]
bold [b ]...[/b ]
italics [i ]...[/i ]
underline [u ]...[/u ]

I added some spaces to make the commands visible. Uppercase also works, see?
