Still working on getting my lunchbox together. Have most of the supplies now, and most of the art is about 2/3's done. But, I was looking at my box, and double-checking the dimensions, when something hit me! There's 2 sides to a lunchbox!

So I've got an idea to do for the reverse side of the box, but I'm having trouble finding the right screencap, and I'd be most grateful to anyone who could point me in the right direction.

Here's what I'm looking for: shots of the Serenity doing that "starburst" thingy with all the groovy lights and such. Usually I go to still-flying.net for this stuff, but I only found one that'd work and... it just didn't do it for me. Doesn't have to be a terribly high resolution, though bigger is certainly better.

I know there was a shot of it in the pilot, and there has to have been a few more instances of it going to "full burn," though I can't remember the episodes it would be in. Anyways, like I said, any help pointing me in the right direction would be most helpful ;p

If not, which eps. did you look at?

I think I've been through most all of them, though not exactly in the most systematic of methods. I'm trying to remember which episodes you actually saw Serenity doing the full burn thing. I know the pilot did, but I'm drawing a blank at the others. IIRC, I've been through Serenity, Our Mrs. Reynolds, and Safe up and down on that site...

Also thinking of a backup plan of using the shot from the Serenity episode where they pull the Crazy Ivan on the Reavers, looking down from the engine at the wicked contrail it's leaving in the atmospere. Don't want to just cut and paste a screencap, though, so I'm brainstorming at what else I can implement into the design. (I did try one where it was a nine-panel layout with face shots of all the Heroes, but it came out a litte... Brady Bunchy :)

Hey, nuke, sorry to be so slow getting back.
Checked still-flying a little bit & found:
Serenity Pg. 2 & 7, and on Pg. 13 a nice one with the blue of the thrusters, no yellow.
Also:
Train Job Pg. 2 and on Pg. 9 another blue-thruster image, no yellow.
Haven't spent a whole lot of time on it, but it seems to me that we probably recall seeing that effect more often than it actually occurs.

Maybe instead use one of the neat CGIs of docks at Persephone, or wherever, or the floating thingies on Bellerophon in Trash?

LOL at the Brady Bunch effect. Gag.

What are you going to put around the outside of the box?

@FloralBunny: Yeah, I'm starting to think that it doesn't actually show up as much as I'd remembered, too. Thanks for the help, though, I think I can likely cobble something together from a couple different sources.

I've posted a rough of the left and right sides for the lunchbox up in the Blue Sun room here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=8528

There's been some changes I've made, but that's the basic gist of it. The sides still need some more inking and the color's a little off. (The front side of it's the same theme as the left and right sides, but with Mal and Inara on either end and a wide shot of everyone at the table in the middle.)

@IamJacksUsername: thanks for the links, I think I can use those with a couple others and cobble something together fairly easily. ;p Likely use alot of that rainbow glare effect along with some of the yellowy discharge from another cap, see what I can do with some filters and a few other stock photo resources.
