There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I finished Leviathan Wakes last night and just uploaded a review.

Even though I don't mention it on that page, there were several elements than reminded me of Firefly. The first came early on when Holden and crew were entering the Scopuli, which had much the same feel as when Mal and Zoe first went aboard the derelict ship in "Bushwhacked."

Also, even though it is set in our solar system, there was a definite division of Earth/Mars (core planets) versus the "Belters" (rim planets) much like the Alliance/Independent dynamic.

Plus, the horror element was even more disturbing than the Reavers.
