BORIS

I don't know about the rest of you but for some reason I carry a lot of crap around with me most days. On non University days I carry a large tote bag. here are the contents:
750ml water bottle
Portable plastic cutlery set (two handles plus bits that snap on to make fork knife spoon or chopsticks)
3X small zippered "pods" one with my portable phone charger, another with 4 usb drives, and a third with the charger lead for my mp3 players
2X sansa Mp3 players: one for music and one for videos (at the moment I have venture bros, Dollshouse and Serenity on it)
a zippered pouch with lip balm, mini sunscreen and tinted moisturiser, eyeliner, mascara, soap sheets, mini toothbrush, hand balm, lemon myrtle balm (For excema and insect bites), tweezers, nailclipper and hair goo (don't know why I carry the makeup items as i've pretty much given up on that stuff since going back to study)
Variety of plastic containers with snackage items
mobile phone
comb (never use one...but like the makeup I guess it's there just in case)
extra claw grip for when my hair finally chews up the one I'm wearing
umbrella (mind you it always seems to rain on days I've forgotten it)
a book or magazine
a couple of journal articles relating to whatever assignment I'm researching at the time
pencil case with pens, pencils, fineliners, highlighters, white out,NSW UNE health ID card, and neurology torch (I pilfered it at my previous adult placement for speech path it comes in very handy foe finding stuff that had fallen to the darker depths of your bag)
small torch (small but has a mighty beam for days i forget to call home and have to walk home in the dark...I weild it like a lightsabre...it's dark noone can see me)
pocket knife
enviro friendly shopping bags x2
sticky tape (I may need to buy a present for someone suddenly)
keys (on days I don't forget them...which is a pain because i have to climb over 2 fences and then stand precariously on a stool to get the spare key...usually the cat comes over to see what I'm doing and attacks me just because I'm standing precariously)
chewing gum
a hat
insect repellent
mini toolkit
tissues
wallet
smaller wallet with uni ID and change for the bus
sweets of some description
old receipts and movie tickets
sunglasses
small first aid kit
handy wipes
paracetemol etc

Someone remind me ta bop Boris about the head and take her sh!it ever there's a nuclear attack and I need to survive underground for the next 30 or 40 years... Although, that being said I won't bring ya along, I read an article about a modern day cannibal and he said that black males in their 30's are the tastiest of all people meats...I think I would taste like black cherries, I always keep a bag in the freezer and pop one when I get *bored* (like She must be to post the contents of her bag and I must be to be sitting here and reading it) Maybe has something to to with me wanting nuclear explosions an people snacks...

or

Oh oh oh , lets start a thread about people who you'd like to eat the LEAST...

Boredom is an acutely noxious disease...Jocelyn Wilderstein...how much plastic and silicone would you ingest if you ate her? blegh!...don't eat Mike Rowe, for your own sake...not having "Dirty Jobs" to look forward to would exacerbate my boredom which would lead to even more of my tedious posts cuz I'm bored...and my brain is kinda dumbing down due to 4 years of harsh academic demands (Speech Pathology will kill your mind if you let it)Eat one of Mike's camera guys they've been in the gross stuff too.

This is theoretical anyway, personally I find Mike Rowe ruggedly hansome, love any guy with a deep voice...

My first thought was Michael Jackson, mainly 'cause he's dead !!!

Also, I'm just pickin' on you -affectionally, mainly because I am also bored out of my wits from 10pm-midnight untill my brain will allow me to run a shutdown program... And hubby's at work, every sane person I know is asleep, including my kid, and we only have free tv channels... I'd love to be able to go to college, but considering that genetically speaking I probably won't be around long enough to make it through college AND pay off the bills, it wouldn't be fair to my kid... Four years of anything will rot your brain. Do you get to take any classes you really enjoy and look forward to? I used to skip lunch and study hall in high school so I could take every art class offered, so I loved my senior year... Last night I had a dream that I'd forgotten my locker combination, wonder if I'll ever grow out of that? I swear I have the memory of an 85 year old...

ha ha ...I'm enjoying our light hearted bantery...keeps the mind agile. It has been difficult stuff to learn but I have enjoyed most of my speech pathology core units as well as neuroanatomy and bioscience. hated Psychology and statistics. This year has been mostly taken up by clinic placements, but starting form next week I'll be interviewing for my honours project. I'm only bored in the evenings at the moment as I'm far from home.
You are never to old to go back to college. There's a lady who just graduated form mine who is 97.
I don't have too many bills to worry about at the moment. I owe the govt about 24000 but they don't atart making you pay it until you earn over 30 000 a year. (there are still some good things about Australia) also my dear old folks let me move back in while I study so that keeps bills down (actually I needed an excuse to move closer to them. after they retired My father had the bright idea of moving a long way from where they knew anyone. I kept having to handle stuff for them over the phone and Bipolar Mum didn't cope with the move so voila! here I am pretending I'm dependent on them so i could sneakily sort their stuff out. have been weening them off their dependency on me

Normally, I would agree... But you need to take into consideration that the last three!!! generations of my fathers family have been completely wiped out by cancer before they reach 60, grandma I never met at 44! Dad is 57 and will not be here for 58...My mom's side? Well, put it this way, my grandpa and I have the same health problems and I watched him die (62!) from a transected aorta>>> there's no surviving that, sometimes even IN an operating room!!! In short, my chances have been weighed and measured and found lacking... I do the best with what I have and am not really complaining, some people do not get to make it to 10... Also, I'm sure the 97 yr old doesn't have to worry about leaving a family already in debt with massive bills, so bully for her.

Wo! Thats a harsh health history You must have superhuman strength to deal with all the stuff you deal with. Hope i didn't offend you, I was aiming at being supportive. I'm pretty lucky I don't have anyone dependent on me at the moment...though my folks are getting to be more that way so that's a big part of why I pushed to go back to study. need a career that will provide finances that'll help me look after em right and maintain their dignity when the time comes (dad is showing sign of early Alzheimers, its what took his mother, sadly my mum is not strong enough to be able to handle it So it will be on me and My Pa to work through it). Australia is still the lucky country in a lot of ways. I qualified for a govt loan to return to University, otherwise I'd have no chance at becoming a speech pathologist, at my age and with my finances (have always worked in community services: huge rewards in terms of being part of client progress etc but lousy pay).
