....you've seen the title and now the author....

....and now you're probably going, WTF? o_O Steamer the grumpy old cynic, who's always bellyaching about how unloved he is and always shall be, is putting up a singles thread?! When the heck did that happen?

Well, it's happening now, but don't get the wrong idea - it's been almost a year since our last singles thread died out, some of the older members have dropped away (or met somebody) and some newer members have joined the ranks. Thought I'd conjure up another one so the newer, not-so-newer, and singler amongst us could at least commiserate, if not seek out something special. And after the crap I've been through, don't know what kind of a love doc I am, but I'll see if I can lend a hand to anyone who'll take it. Never leave a man (or woman) behind. :wink:

You all can say whatever you like about yourselves and/or what kind of Browncoat you're looking to marry by surprise and steal their ship hook up with. Post away, have fun, and good luck! :wink:

Nope.

I'm here out on the Rim of eastern NC. All the men in my age group are interested in "pretty young things" and don't have the challenge of a very intelligent 18 year old daughter with mild Asparger's Syndrome (an autism spectrum disorder).

I've just about given up too.

I'm single, but not in any way, shape or form looking to marry. Marriage is just a signed document that too many people break. A couple can have a commitment without having that document between them.

Anyway, I live in Los Angeles so its not the easiest place to find a nice, genuine down to earth guy. I won't ever move for one either. This is my home and its where I'm staying. I've got a very alpha personality and don't take shit from anyone, and that tends to turn many guys off.

I'm a Tiger on the chinese calendar and a Libra. Go figure how THAT works. LOL! No wonder I'm still single :)

What's your BDH personality? (Not necessarily the result you got from a personality test - what BDH do you feel you most closely identify with?) PHYRELIGHT

Single browncoat from the South. I'm a lot like Kaylee. (I just used my little hand drill and hammer a few minutes ago to dismantle some furniture and wall-hangings.) But, I also have a style and artistic interests that are comparable to Inara's, but not with the paid sexin'. Kissin' on the other hand... I also work in film and theatre. :wink:
