Then you've been playing a game supiciously like Civilization. Or your megalomania is acting up again. Could be either one I suppose.

Rise of Nations. It's like a cross between Civilisation and AoE, real-time but you can pause it and issue orders, so it's like turn based. It's also got the epicy-ness of Civilisation.

Not a guess but I stumbled on this word and definition while researching my guess here http://phrontistery.info/b.html "beerocracy government by brewers or brewing interests" I do wonder when that's ever happened so that somebody actually coined the word.

Whiskey and coke. Until I run out of whiskey then it's vodka. I've got the early 70s Bowie playing and it's sunday. Good times.

I spy with my little eye something beginning with M. I don't think we've done M yet.

No. Though that reminds me of an incident a few years back. I had occasion to quote Douglas Adams to a co-worker, "'I ache therefore I am', Marvin." He, apparently unaware of the HHGG series turned to me quizzically and asked, "Marvin the Martian?" I said, "No, the paranoid android." but upon further reflection I allowed as how it would work for either character.

Nay, none of these are correct. Though as I am the only one that knows and you all are to guess I suppose it would be a mystery to you. Half a point for being correct in an incorrect way.

I'm not sure what lands of wonder you've been visiting but I can tell you the ones I'm familiar with do not have mullets or mondays for that matter.

You're sure its not the moon? Have you evern been there? You know there could be a queen witch running the place?

I'm fairly certain I can't see the moon from where I am. I looked. But yeah if there is a Queen on the moon she is most likely a witch of some sort.

More like Talisman. 2-16 players (best with 4-5) explore a magical kingdom overrun with dangerous monsters, populated by various factions, and liberally strewn with artifacts magical and wondrous. The playing surface is made up fresh each game from 20 two sided hexagonal tiles depicting valleys, woods, caves, and mountains and the various treasures available are randomly distributed ensuring a different realm for every game. There are sixteen different characters with their own strengths and weaknesses and varying levels of good will with the various factions.

The rules are somewhat convoluted and it's long out of print. The most recent set of rules (fan created) is here http://www.geocities.com/n_and/mr00.htm and there is a project afoot to create a web client to play it (called Realmspeak http://magicrealm.dewkid.com/rspeak/realmspeak.htm ) but it doesn't implement the full game yet.

Well I think Citizen got it first but you were the first person to actually say it. Maybe you could flip a coin for it. Or we could let it slide. I have real life stuff to do over the next couple days so I'm probably going to be a bit scarce-ish.
