Yup! So far it's been pretty good. I get mine about a week off the norm cause I don't have HBO. A friend is taping it for me.

Last one I saw was Roberta's funeral. The "affair" is just too wierd! Really do like it though.

I downloaded and watched Season 1 episode 1 on your suggestion, Koffee. I can't think of a more distressing program. It made me uncomfortable the entire way through. The production values were fine, the acting acceptable, the story was deplorable. I can't think of a reason to be motivated to watch the vomitous internal struggles of backbiting wives, 60 year old "profits" (*not prophets) with their harems of 14 year old brainwashee's, and demented backwoods-people. If there is any redeeming quality in this program, I didn't find it and never will, cause I won't waste any more time watching it. I have also told anyone I care about to not waste their time on this excrement.

Personally, I'm addicted to this show. I may disagree with the morals of many (ok, all) of the characters, but it's still a mesmerizing show.

Does anyone like Deadwood? I can't wait for it to start up again.

I am addicted too. I have to admit that it makes me uncomfortable sometimes too, but that is what draws me in.

I love this show! I completely loathe poligomy but this show totally sucks you in! And I love hating Chloe Sevingy! The cast has so many great actors, Mary Kay Place and Harry Dean Stanton(he creeps me out!). It's become one of my guilty pleasures! I also love seeing Carlos Jacott on it! Plus if you have ever watched Wonderfalls, Yvette the maid is Carlos's wife on the show, Pam.

Yes, I feel the addiction coming also. Like Maniac, I felt uncomfortable watching at times but kept telling myself that it was just a TV show. I don't think I am going to go out and marry me a few more women just because I like watching. No need for me to disappoint more women in the Verse. The "Affair" episode was really sweet yet at the same time disturbing. Loved it! What a story line!

Ah Deadwood. My most favorite show still on the air and I have only seen the 1st season (about ten times now). The 2nd season DVD box set hits the states May 23rd and I have my money ready. Why those HBO c*%#$uckers released the S2 Box set in the UK already baffles me. I'll wait. If you have seen season 2 don't give me any spoilers please - I've tempted myself enough by reading some of the episode recaps on the website. From season One - Specialty Acts - degenerate tit licker. How do they come up with that stuff!?

Am I correct that Season 3 is ready to start airing on June 11th? I may have to break down and start paying for HBO. CURSES!

AS - Who stole the dope?
MW - Wu no steal dope.
AS - No Wu, Who.
MW - Two white c*%# $uckers!
AS - Yah, c*%#$uckers. I'm glad I taught you that word.

Anybody seen Weeds on Showtime yet? Is it any good?

I refused to watch Deadwood on point of principle. I'd read in an Sky magazine letter reply that Firefly had been cancelled becuase people weren't interested in the Western genre anymore (or something like that) and then not long after they go and replace it with Deadwood which isn't a patch on our show! (OK, I admit I've never seen it but I must be right about this!). And it got a second season!

Sorry, still a bit bitter about the unjustness of life!

I wonder if some of the venom you have for the show stems from the idea that it takes place in “your own back-yard”?
