Here's another "favorite movies" thread that hopefully will last.

What's your favorite Part 3 of any film series or trilogy or whatnot. I know that most people consider part 3's to suck and all that, but I'm up for a challenge.

I know there are a lot of better part 3's, but my personal favorite part 3, hell one of my top 5 films of all time is BACK TO THE FUTURE 3. I remember seeing it when I was five or six and I had such a fond memory of it. It was THE movie, y'know. The one you see that opens your eyes to the medium and makes you say to yourself, "I wanna make movies". That was the one that did it for me. It's such a great blend of genres, it wrapped up everything the trilogy was about and the train sequence today still goves me more thrills than a hundred action movies combined. Also, I liked the fact that it was Doc's movie. The two previous flicks were all about Marty and his family. It was nice for the supporting character to get his own flick to shine in.

Also, I dug both "Return of the Jedi" and "Revenge of the Sith". I'm guessing their both part 3's, even though the former was 3rd produced but 6th in canon and vise versa for the other. I know with JEDI everyone's all about the Ewoks, but it also had the space battle to end all space battles, and the final showdown between Luke, Vader and the Emperor that still gets you. And I know I'm gonna get crucified for saying this, but SITH wasn't that bad. Once Anakin officially turns to the dark side and all the shit hits the fan, it just takes the breath away. And when Anakin does the Jedi chokehold on his pregnant wife, it just breaks your heart.

So what are some of your favorite Part 3's?

I loved all the Indy movies, so indy 3 would be my choice.

Saying that, I can't actually remember which was the third film, I can never get the order right, but, hey, loved them all so its got to be good.
