This weekend I went to the Phoenix Renaissance
Festival, people dress in costumes, craftsmen and women sell there goods, and such...

I wore a Serenity movie T-Shirt,(that my lovely and under appreciated fiancee got me).

We went to the pleasure feast 6 courses,entertainment debauchery, so on and so fourth....

while waiting in line the maiter'd on the event came up and asked if I was a browncoat
I said yes
hes said the band that was play ing would do songs for one of their own if they knew I was there

they served the first cousre or so
the band came out mandlin, guitar, rythum sticks and asked if there were any independents in the audience
I screamed out a manly eeeyaaah
they said we aim to misbehave and launched into the Hero of Canton

about 30 minutes later the queen of the festival showed up she went around doing her queenly stuff

she came over to me and asked about my hat ( they gave us stupid hats to wear for the feast) I said I had better

she said " Well at least it's not gold with earflaps and a ball on top"

I was geeked out

I spent the rest of the day getting compliments from people who had spent thousands of dollars on costumes about my $20 dollar t-shirt

A deffinate kick-ass day

just thought I'ld share

I usually hand out browncoats to new folks, but-

I take it you've been a Browncoat for awhile now, so you might not be needin' a 'coat, you may already have one. If so, I'm so glad you are here. If you want a 'coat, ask and I'll rustle one up for you.

MATTCOZ

I went out to this night club last night, was playing some awful techno and had some weird people dancing like fools. Anyways, I wasn't really enjoying it so I went up to the bar to get a drink. They were playing a movie on some TVs above the bar and I didn't really look very closely, then right before I walked away I saw it out of the corner of my eye... SERENITY! My opinion of the place immediately changed.

No I ain't knew . just couldn't get my old name to work

I think the bands name was alana,(I think much ale had passed my lips before and after)
no idea on the spelling the MC told me they also did "Mal's ballad", the theme song

I will try to find out I have my resources
