Fox's new reality show "Screw the public". In this series fox execs sit around and try to come up with ideas on how to cancel the best shows they have with the hopeful outcome of having nothing but reality series on their network so with all the money they save they can all have big raises.

Some of the events include bad time slots and plenty of pre-empting (Firefly). Another favorite is trying to put as few episodes on air of a show as possible (Futurama). One of the best is constantly changing the show's time slot and night and occasionally not even showing another episode for 11 months (Family Guy). Of course, the great grandaddy of them all, let's make sure we advertise them as little as possible. Yea, now we can put Monica Lewinsky on prime time! She'll work for free dry cleaning!

Mentioning Reality TV has anyone else seen Comedy Central's 'Get Real' commercials? Basicly they're making fun of all the reality TV shows. I've only seen two of them; Joe Mormon and Handicapped House. At first I thought they were actually serious. You can never tell these days; especially with Monica "Cigars" Lewinsky getting her own reality show from Fux.

Next: Woody Allen on fidelity and child care. Roman Polanski on taking responsibility. Saddam on human rights. And last but not least, Charles Manson on proper social interaction.

Fox does know what a good show is. If it's good they cancel it.

"No, it's not the speaking that's the problem, it's .. the listening."
